Writing is one of those things that I have always done. I vividly remember spending most of an English exam writing a complicated adventure story as the answer to an exam question. I passed the exam, either because of, or despite the answer.

I tend to write the story that comes to mind, regardless of genre.

An afternoon cruise turns deadly.

I love Alice and how brilliant she is at 99 and how she was when she was young, just starting out. I like the way this book took basically the same story lines from two different time periods in Alice's life. The book was a great read and I can't wait to see what trouble Alice gets mixed up in next time.

Having recently survived three attempts on her life, Alice was now at a loose end. Outside her hotel room the city of London promised excitement and limitless opportunities. Thanks to a recent influx of funds she could afford to take some time for herself. Her bumps and bruises supported that course.

Those same funds had allowed her to take a suite at the Savoy. Although when she’d checked in the previous Monday she’d almost given the name Catherine Harrington rather than Alice Strong. She was still new to the world of aliases and subterfuge and found remembering different names a touch confusing.
