Projects of all sorts from a standard gravity bong to a rubber ducky hookah and a state of the art vaporizer come to life with Popular Mechanics -inspired illustrations and simple instructions. No fancy materials handyman Randy Stratton shows how to construct everything from common household goods. Build This Bong 's 40 inventive projects made from melons, coconuts, snow-globes, teapots, and more are sure to be a big, mind-blowing hit.
Because Google Books are using all my reviews to sell books when I have denied permission, and since they only quote the first few lines, this entire review is in spoilers.
Most of the things in this book are much more complicated than most people will be willing to do, but it would definitely be a great gag gift. This book shows you how to make some interesting pieces out of your typical home department supplies. But if you don't want to do it yourself, you can contact Al Fakher Great quality, good prices!!
But, I noticed this title when I was perusing my husband's woodworking book shelf. Hmm . . .
There are SO MANY do-it-yourself bongs here! The instructions and diagrams seem pretty clear. Many of the bongs, pipes, and hookahs need no special skills or tools - such as the paper towel tube Steamroller. A trip to Home Depot will be required to construct the Horizontal Hookah, however.
My favorites are the simplest, made from objects found around around the home - a tampon applicator, a rubber ducky, and a honey bear.
I am sorry, but the Book Hookah is just wrong! Drilling holes in books is a big NO-NO. Unless you use a Reader's Digest Condensed Book. Then it's okay.
And all this time I've been wondering why my hubby keeps a coconut in the garage. . .
