Really enjoyed this. Read this through a particularly challenging time in life. It helped me hold space for my own healing.

This book was written so well. It weaved somatic practices with Buddhism, mindfulness and IFS. It gave many practices that were super helpful to integrate the content. It is great for anyone that wants to start working with embodiment - and Buddhism a greater connection to themselves in an trauma informed space and/or great for somatic healers, therapist, yoga instructors, breathwork facilitators or anyone in the . Great read!!! Can’t recommend it enough.

We read this as a team at @thehavenwellnesscenter and it was a great synthesis of trauma-informed care, Buddhist roots to our understanding of trauma, and the incorporation of Polyvagal Theory.
