Stories from Truman Capote’s childhood, as told by his cousin. Some of the events and people showed up in lightly disguised form in Capote’s and Harper Lee’s work (she was a neighbor). This one is most useful for filling in more details about Capote’s mother’s family than what appears in the biographies.
