When I read this book, it was also listed as MCIO P1550.14D and was published 1 August 1983. I also read the Guidebook for Marines/fourteenth revised edition second printing published 1 July 1981. These books have history, basic outdoor survival, first aid, land navigation, and the most important teachings, HOW TO BE A LEADER! These are a MUST read for every Marine!
