I was going write review for each book , but I guess I too pissed cuz of stages I had to through to complete this series , kinda of turn me off towards writing a full review of 8 short stories…. But if you are looking for:
This series offers up Action, intrigue, a kidnapping, a forever love, some bloodshed, a heroic rescuing of damsels in distress, romance & more. What it doesn’t offer is whole book… 1-4 could’ve been Published as one full novel, but no the author decide to give us few pages at time…

I received this for a honest review. If you have not read any of this series please go back to book one for this is not a standalone. A.C. James is doing such an amazing job.
Cyn is suffering from heart break. She is missing Fallon so much. The fast life she was use to living does not seem important any more. She fears she might of gave up the greatest thing in her life.
I am really not like Nathan. He is obsessed with Cyn, almost dangerously so. Now Cyn has told him the secret about the pùca being real. I have to wonder what Cyn was thinking when she trusted Nathan with that secret. Now Nathan is making Cyn feeling uncomfortable and does not seem to understand the fact that Cyn is not interested.
Felicity is pregnant. Her and Niall are so happy. Niall is doing everything in his power to make sure Felicity has an easy pregnancy. Felicity is emotional and is missing Cyn so much.
Fallon is slowly dying of heartbreak. Him and his stallion are getting weaker each and every day. Though I understand Fallon’s reasons for not telling Cyn what would happen if she left I have to agree with Felicity on he should of told Cyn the truth.
I am so looking forward to the next book in this series. This has been such a great journey.

Mistake: and this is a doozy, even if Cyn doesn't know all of it. Yes, she mated with Fallon and left, crossing over the veil. Returning to London isn't what she thought it would be.
Cyn has missed Fallon, but she hasn't been able to contact him through the portal. He won't respond. She loves her family, but even they have changed. Is her job enough? Felicity is with Niall, and Fallon. Darcy is there and Cyn is in London. Nathan still presses her for more and refuses to believe there never has been or will be that kind of relationship.
What is she to do? Where is her heart--really? Could Fallon take her back--would he?
What decisions will she make and will there be more consequences? This one touched my heart. Two stubborn people refusing to admit their feelings and realizing giving up something for something better is not a loss. But I am thinking everything has to be okay--right. It is a love story. There has to be a HEA--right? Those are the rules. Guess I'll just have to read part nine the finally and see for myself. I'm sure you feel the same.

Eight months since Cyn left the Realm, and her life in London has gotten considerably more boring and lonely. Nothing keeps her interest. She misses Fallon and keeps wondering why she gave up that possible life of love and happiness to pursue her career. She had been so afraid of getting hurt that she never gave their relationship a chance. And now she figured Fallon would never forgive her. Her failure to reach him through the portal communication device he had given her convinced her that he didn’t want her back.
Unknown to Cyn, Fallon’s health had been steadily getting worse without his mate. He was in constant pain and his joints were so stiff now that he could not transform into his stallion form. His stallion was also weakening.
In the meantime, Cyn is having a difficult time with Nathan who insists on pushing his feelings on her. She can’t make him see that he is like a brother to her and will never be anything more. If she won’t accept his conviction that she and Nathan belong together, Nathan will force her – he threatens to destroy everything she loves by revealing Felicity and Cyn's secret that the Puca do exist!

After reading eipsode 6 'Choices' I couldn't wait to start reading this episode, I HAD to know what was going to happen next. Having made her choice Cyn is back in London figuring out what she truly wants, while Fallon is back on the tiny island hidden behind the Veil, going through the changes not having his mate next to him brings. Alot of soul searching happens for Cy in this episode. I was riveted to my ereader during the entire book, my fingers where crossed that Cyn would changer her mind & go back to Fallon, maybe taking Nathan with her (I had a thought he might also have a Puca mate)... but after the ending of this episode I don't think he deserves one.
'Mistake' is episode 7 in the "Puca Mates: Ride" series... I would advise you read 'Ride' from the start, only so you could get a real understanding for the series, but you don't nesecarily need to. I can't wait to read more about Cyn, Fallon, Felicity, Niall & the rest of the Puca beyond the Veil.

This is the seventh novella in the series and the focus continues to be on Cyn and Fallon in this part. Each novella is a quick read.
Cyn a has left and returned to her life. She struggles with the changes in her life and is wondering if she made the right choice in leaving Fallon. Fallon wants her happiness and is suffering. Cyn may need to sacrifice too to protect him.
I have enjoyed the series and Cyn is an interesting character with a lot of pain from her past. You learn a lot about her that you did not suspect when the focus was on her friend. Fallon seems like the perfect man who will treasure her if she opens herself up to him and gives their relationship a chance. She really is struggling in this part to make a choice. As she grows and begins to realize what is important, she faces an even more difficult decision.
I enjoy the series and recommend it. You definitely need to start with the first one and read them in order to appreciate the story.

Holy crap no wonder they are both miserable. Cyn is back to her normal life, modelling family and her friend Nathan. But something doesn't feel right and she doesn't feel like she belongs anymore. Everything she has worked towards is finally in her grasp, but it hasn't got the same hold on her anymore. All she can thing about is Fallon. Poor Fallon is deterriating, but still thinks his decision was right and the thought of Cyn being happy makes it worth it. When Cyn finally clicks on to what she wants is such an awesome feeling of happiness. I suppose in away it's good she went home as it's made her realise how she feels. Maybe if she had stayed when first asked it wouldn't of been the right time? Who knows. Get home Cyn!! BUT what the hell is Nathans problem? I thought he was a good guys and friend to both girls? Putting Cyn in a horrible position, to choose like that? Harsh. Right I'm off cause I need to know what happens next.

Cyn finally realizes her life up until she met Fallon was not really living. Meeting up with Nathan at a club and him trying to kiss her, made her realize exactly how she really feels about Fallon. Cyn makes up her mind to go back to the realm and the one man who truly loves her.

In Ride: Mistake, Cyn makes her choice to return to the human world. Not realizing what her decision would do to Fallon, she leaves the Realm to go back to what she knows. Once there, she realizes things weren't as good as she remembered them; the joy she took before from her career, her social life, her world, just aren't what she needs anymore. Meanwhile, Fallon is still behind the veil. He knew losing Cyn would be a sacrifice, but always thought the tales of stallions dying of broken hearts was a myth. Was it reality?

This episode of the 2nd season of Ride has probably been the craziest to date. Cyn is dealing with the heartbreak and depression of having left her mate, Fallon, and figuring out that the great life she was dying to get back to isn't really all that she thought it was. When she finally does get her shiz together it may be too late. Unbeknownst to Cyn, Fallon has been wasting away physically, literally slowly dying without being with his mate. Despite his failing health, Fallon refuses to let Cyn know, believing that if she truly loves him, she'll come back on her own terms, not because she feels guilty about what's happening to him.
Then at the end, that douchebag Nathan... gah!!!!! Yeah, that's all I got to say about that. But what a way to keep me hooked!

Cyn is back in home but she is not happy knowing how Fallon felt about her even his family made her feel like she belonged and she missed her best friend so much and she was about to have a baby and Cyn didn't know what she was having. But she didn't realize that when she left Fallon she broke his heart along with his horse and they were slowly dying without their true mate but she had to stay of her own free will. Cyn was so afraid but after talking to her sister and having an erotic dream about Fallon she goes to her photo shoot and when she still cannot reach Fallon or Felicity she makes up her mind to go back and hopes that he still wants her unfortunately Nathan springs a bomb at the last minute that could possibly shatter Cyn's whole life. Cyn is starting to understand that her life is nothing without Fallon and she is suffering from heart break of being apart from each other. Her life that she is accustom to is not worth all this pain she's feeling. She's in the club with Nathan and when he makes a move on her that is when she realizes that she needs to go back to Fallon the one that loves her. Cyn let's Nathan down gently as she could and goes and tells her sister and mother she's moving to be with Fallon the man she loves.
Fallon is getting weaker as the days go by and he's going to make arrangements for his son as the new Chieftain. Right before Cyn about to go back theirs a new problem that occurs and that threatens to destroy her happiness and others as well.

Cyn's made her choice and now she has to live with it. Mated to Fallon just so that she can go back home to London, she now realizes that all that glitters isn't gold. Initially, I think that it was fear and then pride that kept her from staying in the first place. Felicity is in the Realm unable to leave because she's pregnant and Cyn is stuck with only her family, who are actually loving and caring, and Nathan, Felicity's boss and a part of their triangular friendship. However, this episode takes some dark turns. Cyn never realized just how deeply Nathan's crush on her was despite Felicity's warnings that she need to curb her flirtation with him and what he does at the end tell her just how unhinged he has truly become. I hope that she makes the right decision for herself?

What a nerve wracking, teeth clenching, heart breaking PUCATACULAR continuation of Cyn's story and a FANTASTIC addition to Ride season 2! Heck, the Ride series as a whole!! I don't know what will happen next, how it will end, but even though I hope it will be a Happily Ever After Tail, I am super worried that it might not end the way I hope! AC has truly outdone herself with this one! It is one STALLION of a series that I completely, absolutely and utterly love, Love, LOVE!!

She is realizing that her easy shagging or one night stands are how she deals with her fear of being in a relationship. At the same time she is missing Fallon to the point of having chest pains.

Review for RIDE PT 7 MISTAKE
This was a gift for an honest review
Eight months have passed since Cyn left the realm and her life is just a huge mess. She misses Fallon desperately but is still fighting with herself about going back. She has tried using the portal to contact Fallon but she gets no response at all. In the meantime, Nathan. A friend to both her and Felicity is becoming a real pain. He keeps thinking she will change her mind and fall for him, but in reality he is pushing her further away. Eight months have passed since Cyn left the realm and her life is just a huge mess. She misses Fallon desperately but is still fighting with herself about going back. She has tried using the portal to contact Fallon but she gets no response at all. In the meantime, Nathan. A friend to both her and Felicity is becoming a real pain. He keeps thinking she will change her mind and fall for him, but in reality he is pushing her further away. Back in London for months now, Cyn misses Fallon more and more and now realizes everything she gave him up for no longer holds allure. No longer the life of the party, Cyn hides at home with the telly. The few times she goes out to visit her sister and meet Nathan she is just reminded of what she left behind. Nathan too is becoming a problem, as he will not take no for answer to his advances and is starting to become obsessive. She tries repeatedly to reach Fallon with the portal but it is not working and she fears he no longer wants her. Cannot wait to see how she fixes this mistake!

Cyn as been back in London for several months now and isn't happy but is still afraid of giving into her feelings. Fallon is going downhill without his mate but won't ask her to come back, it has to be her decision. After finding out that her sister is engaged Cyn decides to go to Fallon. Before she leaves she meets with Nathan to say good-bye but something happens. Will she actually go to Fallon or end up staying?

Cyn is back to her “old life”, and her career is taking her where she had always wanted. But none of it seems important anymore. Her sister Lillian has important news, and Felicity should have her baby any day. Cyn cannot use the portal to communicate, and perhaps Fallon will never forgive her for the way she left. A decision needs to be made, but there is a threat which need consideration.

I was asked to make an honest review of this book...If you have not read any of the other series from A.C. James you need to play catch up as this story line progresses from the other stories. So start from Episode 1 Ride: Awakening and work your way through to this Episode, you will not be disappointed. Going from a single, not want to be tied down woman, Cyn really has her life in a bit of a pickle not knowing what way to go. Does she stay, or does she leave? I won't tell, you need to read this and all the others. Cannot wait for the next Episode to make its appearance.

This is book 7 in the Puca Mates series and it picks up right where book 6 left off. Cyn is starting to realize that she has made a mistake in leaving Fallon. She is also realizing that Nathan could possibly be a problem for her. This book also brings some updates for Niall & Felicity which I loved hearing what was going on with them also in the series. This book leaves off with a cliffhanger with Fallon getting sicker with Cyn gone and Felicity worried about her pregnancy. I can't wait for book 8!!

These are fast paced enjoyable reads with a little action...a little romance....a little intrigue, etc.
Cyn chose to mate Fallon and leave him behind while she gets back to her life in London....but some choices are hard to live with.
Will she go back to the man she loves or will she stay in London to keep the Puca safe from exposure to the public? ??

I really enjoyed reading Ride: Mistake. This picks up where #6 left off. Cyn has returned to her life in London, however, she doesn't feel like she belongs anymore. She is missing Fallon and the portal mirror is not working. Fallon on the other hand is not doing so well. Nathan is being a jerk and tries his best to be Cyn's next boyfriend and she wants nothing to do with him. She decides to go back to Fallon, however, Nathan tells her if she leaves he will break his promise and publish on the blog about the Pucas. What is she going to do now?
