Will be teaching from this book to new believers/new members at my local church body.
Thus far, my favorite chapters are 5 (God's Book) and 6 (Talk with God). In chapter 5, shares that there are 66 books written by 40 varied writers and 333 prophecies in the Bible, with two major sections known as the OT and NT. Furthermore, it shares how to study the Bible, applications, and benefits. I loved this part of the chapter most to help new believers and remind myself the importance of studying the Bible with its promises/benefits. In chapter 6, exemplifies that dialogue with God is simply prayer. Sometimes it is difficult to find time, or adapt to "focused prayer" which can start by reading certain passages of the Bible (Scriptures) and meditate on it without distractions. The mind can wander. I may also incorporate in the teaching, further on prayer, from my book "Desire at Will" on this section.
"As you grow in the knowledge of God's Word and in your time with Him in prayer, you will discover that prayer will be the key to releasing God's power into your life and into the lives of those you love" (page 54).
Chapter 9 speaks on "Roles of the Holy Spirit" and have another book for reference as well entitled "Holy Spirit Baptism" by Don Basham to clarify any questions that may arise, including as an instructor and learn for myself.
I like the suggested Bible translations explanations.
I also hope to teach from "The Day Begins with Christ" later.
