Lord Grizzly

Rate this book

Nate King has a lot to be happy about. He and his family are settling into a new home, far from the taint of civilization. But the deep wilderness has its own set of dangers, including the greatest predator of them all: the giant grizzly. Nate has earned a reputation as Grizzly Killer, but this bear is different—this bear saved his life once, and Nate feels a debt of honor. But is it possible to teach a wild grizzly to go against its murderous nature? Will Nate's plan be any match for the mammoth bear's four-inch claws and wickedly sharp teeth? Or will his family learn a fatal lesson of their own?

Let me tell you a funny story.
Once upon a time, I put a book called Lord Grizzly on my TBR list, then found out it was available in my online library. I listened to it and kept wondering why I had ever put it on my list. I went to add it to my Goodreads collection and guess what...there are two books by that name!
Next time, I will try to find the right Lord Grizzly.

What an exciting book -- the action started at the very beginning and never stopped till the end. I thought it was more of a 'guy' book and I wouldn't enjoy it so much -- just read it because my hubby is into this series and I wanted a change from my usual -- but I was surprised by how much it held my interest. If you appreciate nature, or are into adventure or wonder what the wilderness lifestyle was like, you'll really love this book. An excellent read. I will read more in this series.

T two bit fiction not worth two bits. And to think that this is number 48 in a series. So glad I missed the first 47. Just not a believable story in any way. I guess I am spoiled by Zane Grey and Louis LAmour.
