This is a very good book. If you have any interest in medical marijuana then I would highly recommend it. It has an introduction by Lyn Nofziger, press secretary and speech writer for Ronald Reagan. Nofziger was a right-wing Republican who supported people's rights to marijuana. Why? You may ask. Because his grown daughter while undergoing chemotherapy for cancer found comfort, pain relief & freedom from the violent vomiting that accompanies chemotherapy; by smoking marijuana. She was unable to get this relief from any of the usually prescribed drugs and she was not helped by Marinol/Dronabinol(synthetic THC drug). Nofziger says she even gained weight. Nofziger clearly states that marijuana has medicinal value. He condemns the federal agencies responsible.

The book itself is written by a glaucoma patient who was loosing his eye-sight to the disease. He fought the federal government and won a right to receive government produced marijuana joints. 300 a month for life. He spent the rest of his life working to allow other patients in need get marijuana legally & safely. His story is compelling.
