This is a well-written, entertaining, fast paced, romantic suspense novel. It has likable, engaging characters, mystery, intrigue, suspense, a Christian message, a sweet, heart-warming romance and a happily ever after ending.
Terri Reed has once again managed to write a great suspenseful romance! I could feel the connection between these two, and found how Gabe behaved toward Kristina's parents in the end very, very sweet! I was very impressed in how the author transformed this story from beginning to end, and how she brought us to a shocking conclusion...One thing I really liked about the book is trying to figure out what the heck was going on! The author starts out the book with missing people in a nursing home and the story just gets better from there...
I felt it was a little short. I would like to have spent a little more time with the characters. I did like the story line. I also enjoyed that it was set in a retirement home. It's hard to decide if an elderly patient is being paranoid, or if there really is something to worry about. I did enjoy the read.
Loved this Christian romantic suspense novel. The characters were well thought out. The story had good flow. Most important it wasn't too preachy, it had just the right amount of Christian ethics to help keep the steady flow in the story.
I've not read anything by Terri Reed before but I like trying out new authors some you like some you don't. This is one I liked , it had some mystery and action. Gable are Kris's story was also a sweet romantic story.
This line of simple, clean books from Steeple Hill have several elements in common: a simple mystery, a romance and a Christian message. This one struggled a little. The characters were fairly bland and the plot had me rolling my eyes a few times. Just OK.
Kris grandma was in the hospital and her grandma kept saying that she saw dead people. Kris met her partner and was still in love with him.In the end they got back together and her grandma got out and went home.
