Mr. Bourgeois has written on a variety of subjects and using a wide selection of styles. His first story $200 Alan, based on a true story, was published in 1990 in a California Prison newsletter. That initial thrill from writing that story set him on his current path.
Over the years Mr. Bourgeois has written articles for newspapers and magazines, plus, short stories and fantasies. In 1997, he began to write his first book, GAPH: God's Army to Purge Homosexuality, based on a true event. It only took the author a few weeks to complete ¾ of the initial draft. However, due to his own personal fears, it would take him another 3 ½ years to finish the book, in the winter of 2002.
Mr. Bourgeois grew up in Los Angeles, but was born in Houston, TX, where he lived from 1990 to 2009. He then moved to Austin, TX where he plans to make the city his last place of residence.
