As modern life takes unexpected turns, love comes knocking on the doors of three Arizona women.
City girl, Blaire Mackenzie has inherited her uncle's ostrich ranch, but how can she keep it when everyone, including the handsome manager, thinks her incompetent? Even as she starts to enjoy the ranch—and Burke Dunham—can she really find contentment there?
Jazmyn Rondell's brother takes her on a hiking trip where her path crosses a secretive trail guide. Thor Larsen has retreated from the spotlight and locked his emotions away. Can Jazmyn and Thor work together to clear the past?
Maddy Henry reluctantly agrees to help her friend's brother on a nature photo assignment. Jason Rondell has long been attracted to Maddy, but he was left at the altar once. Will burns from past loves keep these two forever apart?
As each couple allows faith to rework their futures, will love bring healing and paint new days full of promise for each woman?
Nancy J. Farrier grew up on a small farm in the Midwest amidst a close-knit family and a large extended family. She loved farm life including the animals, cooking, gardening and canning, but not so much the cleaning house part. A little-known fact is that she preferred to help with feeding cattle or mending fence than helping with housework.
In school Nancy often got in trouble in history class for hiding a fiction book in her text book to read during the teacher’s lecture. Or, she daydreamed her way through classes, writing stories in her head instead of paying attention to the teacher. English and Literature were her favorite classes.
Now, a best-selling, award winning author of historical and contemporary Christian fiction, Nancy lives in the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona and loves to research and include bits of history in her books. She often incorporates her love of the Southwest into her settings as the Southwest has a rich history that lends itself to fiction, and historical characters that come to life on the page.
I really have been enjoying Chrisitian Fiction. It is so nice to be able to read a romance where I don't have to worry about "R" material coming out of nowhere. These three stories were definitely a pleasure to read.
This book was actually a Trilogy of love stories starting with "An Ostrich a Day," followed by "Picture Imperfect" and finally "Picture This." All the stories overlapped with certain characters and of course, being a Christian Romance, Christianity was the highlight of the totality. They were good stories but I gave it only 3 stars because I felt them to be predictable and also felt that the women characters were shown to be weak and extremely vulnerable in all three stories. However if you enjoy Christian books you will probably enjoy the themes.
great book I enjoyed reading about three woman and their families each and everyone had a different story to tell. I didn't get the connection until the end. It was a supersize to me.
Sometimes very slow reading. Three stories of people falling in love. Gosh, the characters in the books were so hesitant about making decisions and getting on with their lives.
