Oh My God.!!!!

“I´m going to make you suck my cock for
hours after I fuck you for days.”

“I´m going to be so deep inside you that you won´t
know where you end, and I begin”

WHAT?!!!!

After Gavin´s arrest we all thought that would be the end and HEA but no...

I really thought the first book would be the one but this one exceeded my expectations. It had everything from love, lust, romance, jealousy, drama, misunderstandings, schemes EVERY-FUCKING-THING.!!

New characters come into play too…that are after Heaven´s and Julian´s bones … Oh Yeah.!!!

Can´t wait to read what else Z has in store for us.

I FUCKING LOVED IT.!!

This story continues where Insufferable Proximity left off and were Julian and Heaven fall in love after years of hating each other. Please read first book before or you´ll understand shit about this one.

Don´t fret my friends, this book ends with a wonderful HEA and no cliffhangers. It ends with everyone so happy about their lives after all they have endured at the hands of Gavin and other people involved to pull them apart since the first book.

The sex was incredible. Super H-OOOO-TTTT.!! I loved it.!! I loved how Julian was so concerned of having Heaven safe and it just melted my heart. He went all Alpha male on her. Possessive, aggressive, jealous and all. Since book one I could sense the good chemistry they had and it never wavered. The madder and jealous he got the hotter the sex.

He always wants to be the one with the control over everything and I was exasperated at the beginning but what can I say.. I love my Julian. I really enjoyed watching them grow and change throughout these books. Although I didn’t like seeing Heaven so soft. There were times that she should have given her peace of mind to someone and instead she kept getting in trouble after trouble with the King of Kink.!! Those moments made me want to bitch slap her. There´s obviously no cheating in the book. They have a very raw, carnal relationship full of passion in and out of the bedroom (Their office) which blinds Julian most of the time when he is not worrying about his girl.

Their love and trust was so unswerving that not even gossip could tear them apart and I mean GOSSIP. Heaven put herself in situations sometimes unknown by her that whoever caught her in the move would think she was on to cheating and not being framed.

Heaven and Julian fight continuously to be together despite the turmoil that comes towards them. They talk a lot, well they actually fight a lot at the beginning. He talks to Heaven about having her safe and how he doesn´t have time to be with her until he is sure the mansion is secure making her feel helpless and needy. Yes.!! Needy :(

Since the first book I loved that even when he has the world at his feet and can have any women he likes, his love is true to Heaven even when he knows her mom is a Madame at a brothel he used to frequent LOL and she stayed true to Julian after knowing he fucked almost half of the staff at the law firm and girls from her moms brothel. They are simply shameless.

description

Heaven is so strong although she has to lean in Julian´s shoulder for her safety and Julian goes so soft when it comes to Heaven because she is his all. They simply love each other to death.

“You´re married, don’t forget that. There might not be signed documentation, yet, but you are legally bound to me until the day of my death”.

Ohh the steamy sex.!!! How could I forget that No spoilers! Sorry :S You´ll have to read those parts.

The ending left me at peace. Everything was where it should be and we even had an extra Epilogue, one year later and 3 years later, so imagine how good it is.

description

There were a lot of POV´s Julian and Heaven, Ayden, Ian, the Kings´mother, Sybille´s among others. The banter and bickering between the secretaries was hilarious and how they gossiped and oh´d and aw´d with everything that was going on around them specially when they went all detective mode inside the firm Bah.!!

I´m really glad these series ended as a duet instead of a trilogy. I don´t think my heart could take 6 more months to wait for a third installment. Thank God I read this book in December and not in February when it was originally published.

There were characters I grew fond off even thought they had little to do with the story and makes me wonder…

Z. Stefani

Does this story differ from the one you had written when Sandy soaked you computer?

I don´t have a cast for Heaven and Julian unfortunately because they are so perfect but…

Whoever reads this book will know what I mean with this LOL or at least this is how I picture it.

I will always love Julian and Heaven. Always. I LOVE book one and I was really looking forward to the sequel. Alas, it didn't quite meet my expectations. Julian's way over the top overprotectiveness in the beginning was annoying and the rest of the book was just okay. Happy to see them married, in love, and Julian was as Alpha male as ever, but it wasn't enough. At least I can always re-read book one when I'm in the mood for some Julian :)

"It was just a matter of time before I lost control and locked you in my office. Now that I know how your body reacts to me, I know that you would have eventually succumbed."
"I can't believe you still wanted to have sex with me after all those years of fighting."
"Not just sex. After all that fighting, I wanted to fuck you raw and beat your ass. After each fight, I'd spend hours fixated on what I wanted to do to you."

First off, I wanna throw out a huge THANK YOU to the author for deciding to write a second part to this story. Ah-Mazing, I just loved it, can't get enough!!

"I'd sell my soul to keep you safe, Heaven. Don't you know that? I'd give up everything I've ever owned, known or loved to keep you alive and here with me."

We pick up right where IP1 leaves off, with Gavin being hauled away by the police. Heaven & Julian both have very different reactions to the attack. While Heaven decides she is no longer going to deny herself anything, she won't take anything for granted & she vows to live her life to it's fullest, Julian goes in to full on 'protect Heaven at all cost' mode, and he kinda becomes obsessed with it. It was interesting to see the changes that take place with Julian. For the first time in his life he experiences a little thing called jealousy, he has no idea what to do with it and he doesn't handle it well. Other than that, he's the same dominate sex-obsessed Julian I've grown to love. He brought a few giggles out of me as well.

"I need you right now, you're not some random fuck buddy... you're my fiancée. You're going to be my wife very soon. I'll have sex with you wherever I damn well fucking please."

"What did I tell you about bringing work home with you? If I can't fuck every other hour while we're at work, then you can't waste our valuable time at home with work."

The cattiness at work has calmed down...some (Lila still needs a good ass whopin), their trust in those around them has been shakin to it's core, old enemies resurface, Julian's family skeletons come to light & boy was that a doozy, but they stick together through it all. What. A. Ride!! Lots of drama, laughs & Smokin hott lovin ;)
Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU Ms. Stefani xo xo xo

Ugh!

I had to find out what happened even though the first book sucked. Damn my OCD. This one was even worse. It picks up right where the first one leaves off and literally for the first half of the book it's focus is nothing but Julian installing a new security system while he keeps Heaven trapped in their room recovering from a "near concussion" for two weeks. I did crack up at the author opting to use cursing and vulgarity throughout the book but drawing the line at using the word 'masturbation' and instead terming it 'self-ejaculation'. Anyway, once they go back to work after Gavin is sentenced to prison (2 weeks later. Fastest trial ever!) Julian goes head to head with Gavins replacement, Clive who is determined to steal Heaven from him. Jealous Julian takes over and several alterations take place including Julian going old school and cutting Clive's hair in a fit of rage. Then Gavin escapes prison and kidnaps Heaven again on her wedding day with the help of his accomplice Lila who is determined to be with Julian. The office secretaries go all Scooby Doo and get suspicious and search her office and find the property where Gavin is holed up with Heaven and Julian races to the rescue with his thug cousins Julius (Yes, Julian, Julius and Julians mother is Julia) and Royce. They subdue Gavin and rescue Heaven. Then after threatening to escape again and come back Julian kills that noise by popping Gavin between the eyes with a bullet. Julian and Heaven marry, a year later have a baby boy. The End. Thank God I was able to return this book and get my money back.

What to say, it was a slow story not much happens to begin with it's about how Julian cope's with what happened to Heaven on that night and how he also cope's with his jealousy at work. Nothing big happens until about 75%.

If you haven't read the first book yet STOP before the epilogue as the epilogue is the same in both books and that can sort of spoil book 2.

Read this one if you want to know what happens more with Julian, Heaven & Gavin.

I am a huge fan of this author bc she gives us the kind of H that is the ultimate caveman who is OTT possessive, jealous, and protective of his woman. This is a direct sequel to the first book and Julian was incredible. We got to see different sides of Julian in this one which was fantastic. He was vulnerable, caring, and truly devoted to Heaven. I wished he was real!!! We don't get to see the same complexity of emotions from Heaven; she was still the strong h we encountered in the first book. I wanted her to be more feminine and softer in this one. The beginning dragged on a bit too much with Heaven recovering and Julian taking care of her. Their days were pretty much going to work and then coming home and having sex. Sometimes Julian couldn't wait and they were intimate at the office. One of the things I loved about Julian in the first book was his huge appetite for food. There is just something so sexy about that I don't know why. Anyway, Heaven's mother and her friends made a return in this book and they were just as fabulous. I was disappointed that we didn't see more of an exploration of Julian's past, especially with his mother. There was more to that story but it wasn't fleshed out. We saw some of Julian's close friends and I hope Z Stefani gives them their own stories as well. They are like Julian use to be: arrogant man-whores who can't imagine falling for one woman. Those are the best kind of Hs bc they fall hard.

I loved this book so much!! maybe not as much as I loved the first one cause it had more to it but that doesn't change the fact that I was completely hooked on this one!!! it was different from the first book so it was another amazing read!!! I loved Julian and Heaven, they changed a lot in each other and I just couldn't stop myself from falling for them both!!!
I'm not gonna go into a lot of details but they were so sweet, beautiful and intense together they made me swoon!!! and I don't swoon very often!!!! it was the perfect End to a perfect story and It had it all!!! all the secret will be revealed and they will finally get their happily ever after!!!
I'm so glad I got the chance to read Insufferable Proximity 1 & 2!!!! it was perfect for me and I loved it so much!!! gonna miss the characters though!!!

4 stars!

Correct me If I'm wrong, but I think this is the first time that she went down on him. right? In book 1 she never did it..
God, he's a boob man! He loves to pleasure her too much!

In this novel, it showed how much Julian changed, he was able to curb or control his cravings for 2 weeks because he didn't want to cause her any harm and he didn't want to lose his focus in protecting her, and as a know sex addict, that was selfless of him.

What I like about him is that, when he's craving for her, he's fine with just pleasuring her, it's like, her pleasure pleasures him, and he does pleasure her a lot, probably anytime he got the chance.

I tried to read a different novel around 10% of the story coz I kind of needed a breather, but I ended up picking this up again in less than an hour.

Eh, this book left me feeling somewhat blah - as if an epilogue was stretched out significantly, with an extra hint of jealousy thrown in to make it last longer. I think an epilogue at the end of the first book would have sufficed. Not a huge fan of author writing style, very choppy and scenes are very short with common themes again and again which lack a bit of character development of plot depth. Nothing really new was added to the storyline in this book, in fact the plot from first book was replayed again with Gavin's escape and Heaven's abduction again! Glad to see them have a HEA. just not sure I needed the 200+ pages to get there.

So bummed about this book. God, the first one was awesome. This one just seemed silly. Don't get me wrong, there are some crazy hot sex scenes! I mean, I love the man and his dirty mouth. I just think the book was far fetched. Not realistic enough for me.
Love her mother and her mothers friends. But the people that they work with drove me crazy. And really, I just didn't care about them.
So I really wanted to give this 5 stars just because of the hot sex. But I just couldn't. :(

3.5 stars!! (couldn't give it 4)
There was a lot happening in here, some of the conflicts that actually had potential were treated as nothing, while pieces of the plot that were actually worthless were dragged through out the book …. Have to say that I liked book one more (this one.. not much)…I felt like this book was a sort of a “die hard marathon” mixed with a scary movie where zombies are involved… I mean the bad guys kept coming at it, never being caugth and the police was useless, and even with all the security measures the bad guy got away with his wrong doings.
I missed the Julian from book 1, at the beginning he was behaving all weird and stupid….
I have to say that for the first 40% of the book I almost cry with boredom and was ready to just drop it. I kept at it and with a big effort finished it… (I guess that only the hotness of their lusty romance scenes was what gave me strenght to finish it.... man! do I like my possesive heroes)
I guess that the book would have been best if it was more like the epilogue where we get to see th new King family member and how they are behaving.

I LOVE HEAVEN AND JULIAN!!! No matter what they do or say..I simply adore them…

This book is purely for the fans/maniacs of those 2 characters..It’s for those who will read anything and everything that have them in it..

The first and the second book are equally excellent and awesome! They’re entertaining, smart, funny and just speak to our romantic hearts that seek for the overbearing overprotective jealous alpha male who will rock our world..

However, since it’s a sequel, I strongly believe that the first book shouldn’t have ended the way it did. It created confusion..Their story ended and then we see their future and now with the second book we go back again..I didn’t like that..But it may have been this way, because the author hadn’t decided for a second book yet..It’s quite possible..

Another thing that rang wrongly in my ears was that the two books had similar storylines..It could have been more different..Just saying..

But like I said above..I LOVE HEAVEN AND JULIAN!!! I am a huge fan of theirs and I have read the first book over a 100 times!..I love them and despite some drawbacks the second book had (in my opinion) I loved the book by association…

This book was pretty similar to the first, however the story did get a little ridiculous. I mean, I get it - it's a book - it's fictional - we are supposed to read about something that's probably not going to happen in real life and get our "kicks" from it. However, this was a little extreme.
1 - The bad guy was just a little to cheesy/bad and his background was just a little too heavy on all things that suck and why it was Julian and Heaven's to deal with.
2 - Julian's need to protect Heaven was just a tad bit delusional with as far as he went with everything.
3 - The ho-guards that are sent out for protection 'ala Queen Pimp are a teensy bit strange with matching spandex outfits and guns.

But overall, it's a good followup for those of us who want a strong Alpha to protect his female. It almost had me putting 3 stars, but, I couldn't do it with the overall happiness this story, combined with book 1, had me in.
So, if you've read book 1, I do highly recommend book 2.

This review is going to be short and sweet.

I honestly think that this story should not have been stretched.
It felt as if I were spinning top in mud while reading it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Julian and Heaven, but this second book was unnecessary.
I swear the entire first half of the book was anti climatic, I felt as though I was trapped in the room with Heaven. Gavin breaking out of prison was utterly predictable, the only 'surprising factor' (we not really) was Heaven's rival lawyer... (her name honestly eludes me at this point) anyways you know who I speak of.
But Gavin's accomplice was really between her and Julia.

I like the fact that the author tries to make a HEA for all of her characters, (Julia and the Security Officer, Gloria and Ian) etc. Still I believe this should have just been one book. But Alas it was a goodish read

I loved the FIRST book. This series should have started and ended with the first book. I really hated how Heaven lost her spunk in this book, I understand she fell in love, but she didn't have to loose her self in the process.

This book had the over possessive, overprotective, OTT alpha male, and that is what made it sweet. The sex scenes are off the charts hot, but I mostly skipped them over. Why? The sheer caring and tenderness the hero showed the heroine trumps the hot sex. He went overboard with it, but I loved how he loved taking care of her. And how she loved him taking care of her. It wasn't that she couldn't do it herself, but that he wanted to do it for her.
I also loved how he put her safety even above hot sex (and he's a sex addict). And I especially love the lack of BDSM play in this book - simply because the tad bit of it in book 1 was not up to the heroine's taste.

I'd read this book again, just for the asshole, but incredibly sweet, yet fearsome male lead - and the woman who accepted his OTTness with grace and love and patience.

What I don't like about this book : the villain makes stupid moves and these firm of hot shot lawyers who have seen everything and gotten their clients off on murder... couldn't figure out shit. If this were a Criminal Minds episode, it would be the most boring one with the basic of villians and the stupidest of victims/investigators.

The mystery/ crime could have been done better. The romance was tender, explosive, and phenomenal. Would like to see more of them. He showers her with so much love.

I knew it would be tough to beat the first book, but there were areas that just fell flat. The characters were less developed. I thought story lines were rushed in some areas and not developed enough in other areas. I was waiting for something else to happen with Julian's mother, but after her initial scenes, she disappeared and I was left wondering why that storyline was even introduced. I wanted more of Ian and his wife and Gloria. Blake's story ended abruptly and was downright ridiculous sometimes. Lila Strain's story could have been amped up a lot. The Ronnie/Juliette story was odd. I love Julian and Heaven, but Julian's possessiveness was over the top. I love alpha males, but the way he was about how Heaven dressed was too much. Heaven came off looking weak and controlled, which was in contrast to her fiery personality portrayed in the first book. I also didn't want a repeat of the whole Gavin story. I wanted more originality and intensity like was displayed in book one. I wanted better developed characters. I did appreciate the multiple points of view, and of course Heaven's mother and her entoutage brought several smiles to my face. I was happy to see the HEA and a glimpse into the future for Heaven and Julian, but I wasn't satisfied with the story as a whole. After waiting so long, I was a bit disappointed and left.....wanting.

Well I loved the first one and couldn't believe there was a sequel coming out. Safe to say I also loved this one as well. First of all I can't get enough of one of my favorite alpha males, Mr. Julian King. This story picks us right after the first book ended.

Julian is still the super protective, extremely jealous, powerful man. He is not on a mission to keep Heaven protected at all times from Grant and any other danger that might come her way. I found it really sweet that Julian tried to keep his libido in check when in came to Heaven which is not something he is know to do just to make sure she was completely healed and wouldn't hurt her in any way.

Heaven is the only women who has always managed Julian's temper and in this book we still find them going head to head with his temper and her stubbornness but they also evolve in their relationship and find themselves compromising with each other and putting their love before their carrier, which for Heaven was a great surprise since work was her life.

I'm fascinated with Epilogues in books, and this one was amazing! I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't read it, but I will say that it made me so happy for them. If you haven't already make sure to read Insufferable Proximity and then continue with this one you will not be disappointed. Just like me you'll end up falling Mr. King.

Heaven and Julien are back, full force in part two of this awesome story. Starting right where things left off in part one, Heaven and Julien are finally on there way to starting their HEA after one heck of a beginning. Or are they.... Part two delves deeper into the relationship between Heaven and Julien. Both realize that their feelings towards one another have changed for the better. So after many years of wasted time, now is the moment to live for each other and that is what this story focuses on. Julien is still the domineering alpha male we all love, and Heaven is still the strong, smart heroine (unless dealing with Julien, but who could resist all that alpha maleness *wink*) that we all wish we could be like. This was another attention grabbing storyline that never got boring. From new & returning characters and the usual office gossip, to full blown episodes of jealousy and nefarious plotting; this story will keep you captivated from beginning to end. These books are total keepers and they will definitely have a permanent spot on my kindle. Thanks for a great read :)

NO REGRETS.....

On reading this.normally books that are UNNECESSARILY stretched out even though it has a good chance of having an HEA in the first one are really hard to read, and boring if I might add.
and I admit I was a little apprehensive while reading this, but my feelings took a nosedive(in a good way) after i got through 15% percent and i was like

OK that was kind of creepy but my sentiments match exactly to the ROCK.

theres not much to the story frankly its stretched, but hey! if Ms.Stefani wants to give us a Julian King overdose who am I to protest?
Heaven was a bit mellow in this one but I liked her,she seemed human this way and *sigh*Julian King*sigh*

lets just say am really happy this book got out;)

I love Heaven and Julian.. there are amazing characters.the 1st book was amazing but this one to me was okay but feels like it covered a few loose ends but if it was worth being a second book I'm not sure.. but I loved reading about their story and have no regrets buying the second book. it is a very good extended ending from the first book. We learn more about Julian' s upbringing.. to me it is just a long epilogue of IP1..but it's worth the read but I do feel that the Epilogue itself in the book was rushed..I was looking forward to this book and I'm not disappointed but I don't feel overjoyed either.

Words can not explain how upset I am over losing several hours of my life. The book was poorly written, I couldn't tell which point of view for most of the story was being told. Pages of useless conversations from characters that were not important to the story. The main characters had no depth. How many times can you read someone saying they want to beat your @$$? Even when the main characters argued they went on for pages saying the same things. I started skipping pages after the first chapter, but by chapter 6 I just stopped. There was also a lack of research about the setting and situations that bothered me. It made the it seem like a bad soap opera set. It just was bad all around. Never heard of pre-divorce papers, agreements, but not papers.

Well written, great story would defiantly recommend to anyone. I loved the first book and the second is just as brilliant.
The book starts off straight from were the last book ended. It still has my favourite elements like the Secretary's gossip, Julian and his possessive and protective nature and the sex scenes are hotter in this book then the first. Also I like that Heaven is a little more vulnerable. In the first book she is hard and approachable, but because of her kidnapping and nearly losing Julian she softens up and I love her. And she is still a brilliant attorney. In the epilogue there was no mention of Julian's mother and I would have liked to know what happened to her. I wish there was a third book. Great read.

I missed Julian & Heaven and I wasn't disappointed with their return. Most of the other characters that irritated me in the first book manage to redeem themselves in this one. I was glad that Julian's cousin made quite a few appearances in this book. I loved his family, but I wanted to hear more about Ian and Julian's relationship. I also wanted to find out what Julian did to Clive. I was hoping Heaven would rip Clive a new asshole in front of everyone in the firm or at least have a decent audience to witness her belittle him. I'm glad Lila got what she deserved and Juliette realized how delusional her obsession was. I'm also happy that Gloria was able to have her HEA.
