Personal Response: The book was a great ending to the series. I really like how the author, Jonah Black, tied the book up with an unexpected twist.

Plot Summary: Jonah can not figure out who he is truly in love with. He went on many different adventures chasing women around. He gave up on all of his fantasies and went after the first girl that stole his heart. Sophie O'Brien was recently diagnosed insane and was to stay in an institute. The doctors believe that Jonah is the cause of Sophie acting so strange. When she was sent there, she sent a letter to Jonah telling him that he was her only hope. After half a year of adventure, Jonah saved sophie with the help of his genius sister. His sister hacked the security and put a man on the visiting list named Mr. Smith. Jonah went there and said his name was Mr. Smith. He took Sophie out for a car ride and never returned. She said,"thank you Sullivan, I mean Jonah." Jonah then remembered when he called Posie, Sophie and it broke her heart. He called Sophie's dad and said she was released from the institute and to pick her up. When Jonah came back to Dun Shula, Florida he found out the girl of his dreams, Northgirl999, is Posie's sister. They were the perfect match he was looking for.

Character Analysis:
Jonah Black: Was seeking for love in the beginning. At the end he found it.
Hailey Hoff: Was Northgirl999, and now is Jonah's girlfriend.
Honey Black: Was Honey Black scared to go to college, and now Honer Black college graduate.

Recommendation: I would like to recommend this series to anyone that is interested in a short series that has lots of adventure, comedy and tragedy all in one.

As a whole, I adore this entire series. I think it's simply marvelous, not for it's literary merit, or use of high-brow language, it's just a good book. I love my YA fiction, so get off my back. As the final book in the series I was a little let down. I wish I could give it a 5 star rating because I love this series entirely, but, honestly, I was dissatisfied with this ending. It didn't have the zeal and excitement I was looking for. All loose ends were tied up, and everything was (mostly) solved, but I do not like these outcomes. Stupid. I fell in love with these books years ago, probably 2007/2008. I read the first three over the course of a few months, loved every minute of it, then the library I was borrowing them from went under a renovation and got rid of this series! I was devastated. I've been looking for this fourth book every where in the subsequent years, and I finally found it at a neighboring library. As it had been a few years since reading the first three I was a little foggy on my Jonah Black knowledge, but it all came back to me within a few pages, like catching up with an old pal. Now I'm just sad that I've finished the series. Jonah Black is my fictitious soulmate. I'll miss him dearly. Oh, and I googled this pen name thinking I'd find out who the author really is; that was one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. I'm never doing that again. Screw the real world, it sucks.

Teenagers...

I read this series when I was back in high school and now that I have a teenager I decided to re-read it. I’m glad I did. Although, I believe I get way too wrapped up in the storyline... getting mad at the stupid decisions Mr. Black continues to make... that’s real life though sometimes.

I truly liked the writing style of the book, I generally prefer the journal style. Even as an adult, I still like the carefree attitude that this book reminds me of. Being a teen and thinking your life is so hard... it’s so true though. Easy reading, easy to pick up and set down when I needed to. I didn’t have a problem with the content for my daughter, but I’m sure the more conservative you are, this will be outside your comfort zone.

I wish there were more books.

These books are bloody perfection I can't even. If you can get your hands on a copy (I recommend Amazon Kindle), do it. Seriously. They're like reading a dream.
