Personal Response: The book series gets better. I really enjoy how the book combines real life's acts of excitement and depression. Jonah has to decide what kind of a person he is. Is he one that only cares for himself or is he one that only cares for others.

Plot Summary: Jonah and Posie break up because he can never get the fact that he is in love with this mystery girl Sophie. Jonah knows so little about Sophie, but feels he in love with the imagination of being in love with her. Jonah also has a secret lover Northgirl999, who is someone who has stalked Jonah for years and knows everything there is to know about him. Jonah has no idea who Northgirl999 is and will probably never know. When Jonah goes to Disneyland to meet with Sophie, she seemed to have lead him on and ditched him. It turns out she was at a frat party at a College. She finally days later told Jonah that she was at the wrong hotel and they had a great, but awkward time. Helicopters flew buy and Sophie freaked out and looked out the window as if to hide from the helicopters. She then later left Jonah angrily for no real reason. When Jonah was about to go home the hotel told him he had a letter. When he opened it there was a note."I see your low on money and need to stay longer -Northgirl999" The letter had 500 dollars in it. Questioning how Northgirl999 new where he was and that he was low on cash he met up with Sophie again at the Disneyland Theme park. The road on the around the world love boat when power went out and they fell out of the boat. Sophie ditched Jonah again and when the power came on, Jonah's arm was crushed by another boat. When Jonah got a cast on his arm and he woke up it said,"Marry Me -Northgirl999". Jonah finally came home and he went on a long bike ride to gather his thoughts. He went to a record store and browsed only to walk out with his bike crushed. When he looked to see who was driving he saw that it was Molly from the frat party which he rudely ditched to go see Sophie. She said she was sorry and that she would gladly take him home. When Jonah got home there was a letter from Sophie. Its read,"Jonah I know it was wrong what I did to you, but I have a reason for it. I'm messed up Jonah, I'm not like other girls. I'm in an insane house and your the only one who can save me. Please Jonah you're my only hope. - Sophie O'Brien.

Character Analysis:
Jonah Black: In the beginning of the book, Jonah was sad that he and Posie broke up , but happy to meet Sophie and really open up to her. At the end of the book, Jonah was disappointed in Sophie and realized she was a fluke, but was happy that Molly was very kind to Jonah and they seemd to get along very nice.

Thorne Wood: In the beginning of the book, Thorne was not open to Colleges because he was to poor to get into any. At the end of the book, Thorne realized that he can wing his way in to College with his interests in business.

Posie Hoff: In the beginning of the book, Posie was happy to be with Jonah, but sad he was not 100% in love with her. At the end of the book, Posie wanted to be with Jonah once again.

Recommendation: I would rate this book 5/5 stars and i would like to recommend this book to anyone that feels that they care for other more than they care about themselves for that is one of the main parts of the book.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I expected that Sophie and Jonah would finally get together, but what happened between them is probably much better 😂. I laughed quite a bit at times and sometimes even felt sorry for poor Jonah (especially at the end).

This book was kind of slow. Jonah kept having these fantasies about this girl named Sophie. Who he saved and got expelled from school and he had to repeat the 11th grade. He lied to his mom jus so they could meet up at a hotel in orlando. Sophie ended up freaking him out and going off on him. She got his arm broke and yelled at him because he wouldnt do her because she was crying. She wound up in a mental institution. The book overall was ok but tht girl was crazy

This book, I recall, was my favorite of the series. SOO funny!! I could probably read it now, a little out of my teenage years and still love it!
