Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.
Very short, a brief introduction to anthropology, chiefly interesting because it dates back to when anthropology was a fairly new field of study, so you get both an idea what is was like to introduce a new field of study and also how much has changed since then in terms of how people think about some of these subjects (particularly as to study of "races")
This is a paper on how Anthropology should be broken down into sections and taught in schools. It is very informative and a wonderful study piece. I found it educational and even got a few points on how to direct some of my studies.
