I came across this book on Amazon and decided to buy it based on the reviews. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The writing is clear and engaging, and it’s full of practical advice on applying the Five Elements. The insights into personalities are especially useful and not something you find in most textbooks. This is an amazing resource for anyone studying or practicing Chinese Medicine, and I’ll definitely read it again.

Better than most descriptions of the five elements, but very repetitious. Also, despite the fact that the Nei Jing was conceived during ancient times, modern writers, Dr's, practictioners should be able to provide more direct and realistic applications to modern life.
