The issue of suffering is one that plagues every major religion and human thought. In my time as a Bible College principal and teacher I have had my students conduct several surveys about this subject on the streets with everyday people. The question asked "What would you ask God if you could pose Him one question?"
The predominant answer to the question "Why does God allow suffering?"
I discovered that more than 60% of those surveyed asked this question. So, over half the population of any country is intriged by this very question! How do we as Christians respond to this critical question?
This book is designed to provide answers in a simple way for people whom need answers now!
The clear approach translates as a quick drive through some biblical truths. It can certainly help to change your perspective on the nature of suffering in a rational way. If, after reading this, you want to dive deeper into all the nuances of the subject matter I can recommend 'The problem of pain' by CS Lewis.
Unfortunately this book has a lot of typos, that makes it unattractive to read. If you look passed that it has a pleasing message to present. Interesting, non-calvinistic viewpoint. Lifted my perspective.
