I had this sitting on my Kindle for a while and decided to pick it up. This moved fast and I was intrigued enough to continue the book even though I'm in the middle of a reading slump. So that's a plus. We get to see the different personalities of each guy, but we don't get to learn much about each of them in depth. There are also some other things that weren't cleared (like who Mila is) up so hopefully we get that explained in the next book.
Since the next book is in KU, I hope to pick it up soon.

Trigger warnings needed
Attempted suicide, domestic violence, mental health issues.
The book needs editing. This reads like a first draft, it needs more fleshing out. The concept is there but the story doesn't draw you in. Found it a bit strange that they have people come and go from the manor but don't know what uber is or Amazon. They clearly have influence from the outside world considering they knew how to fix a mobile phone.... like I said it needs more thought and fleshing out.
The cliff hanger doesn't make me want to read the next book.

Not horrible, but pretty mediocre. The FMC is a doormat, though she does have a pretty drastic attitude shift at some point and grows the beginning of a spine. The men are not given equal attention, and I don't feel I really know them as anything more than caricatures (the sunny one, the brooding one, the brainy one, the leader, etc). Also, it is heavily in need of further editing. There are several super obvious errors that a basic spellcheck should have caught.

great but short
I’m giving 5 stars because I really enjoyed this book. My complaint is that it’s WAY too short. The concept and storyline is great. I just wish it was longer so we could get to know the characters more and see the relationships develops. Since it’s so short, everything happens so fast so it’s a little unsatisfying when their relationship grows

Super quick book 1 of an RH series. FMC runs away from her past like, gets attacked and ends up being saved by 4 men who live in TBR woods who turn out to be more than you average human. Things move very fast in this book and so many questions came up for me about the attack that were never really discussed even though all the characters said how important it was to find out who was behind it.

Very enjoyable great reading
Oh wow! I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters.I'm glad that Adam won't be bothering Clara anymore he deserved what happened to him. I can't wait to see what will happen next for them since Makhil is back?

May 31, 2023Would have liked for this to be longer. We went from Wrath hating her to suddenly he loves her and is done being cruel for the sake of just being cruel. There wasn’t much development in showing the change of their relationship.

Dang was this a good one. It has emaculate spice, the story line is so encapsulating as far as a fantasy paranormally romance book goes. Like I was so drawn into it that I didn't want it to end. So now im excitedly going to read the second book when it releases. I can't wait
