I received this as an award of sorts (honorable mention? nice, anyway!) after participating in the American Regional Math League competition with my high school team back in 1986 or 1987, iirc. It's a fun collection of brief essays. I'm no longer in math the way I was until the mid-1990s, but have kept this collection...

humorous problems. here's one: how many ways can you win a tic-tac-toe in a 3x3x3 cube? very clever solutions are offered; this one is merely (5^3-3^3)/2. The reason is left to the reader.
