I have always liked Dietz's SciFi and I don't know why I did not read this series before now. I have read almost everything else Dietz has written, not sure why I always skipped the four McCade books.

it might be because I binged on Dietz's work, but its all feeling like the same old thing again and again.

its a fair space opera, if you're in the mood for it, but doesn't really do anything new or indredible.

Enjoyed it as usual. Dietz is a great author however this particular one wasn't quite as good as the earlier ones.
