JACOB EMREY has penned a vivid word picture in MALACHI. To a good writer every word, every nuance is important. Malachi is really a fable and every good fable has some deep meaning. Emrey has achieved that goal ten times over. If you take the time to read this short book, only 120 pages, you will surely gain insight and become a better person for it. I am very glad that I chose to read Malachi over several other books I have at my disposal.
Nicholas, now a king without a throne, is small-minded and self absorbed. Malachi could have killed him easily. Instead he chooses to save him body and soul. He takes the time and with compassion he moulds Nicholas slowly but surely to become a better person inside and out.
Just as Malachi muolded Nicholas, the story of Malachi will mould you as well. This is a story that will stay with you for a very long time. You might even want to read it again from time to time. Keep writing Mr. Emrey. Change for the better happens one reader at a time.
