Assigned reading for class. The book was helpful and I would recommend it to anyone new to archival research.

This book is pretty helpful if you're interested in doing archival research, especially if you've never done any and are a little bit intimidated by it. (Which I was when I saw the collection I needed had over 2,000 boxes of material!) It will definitely help me with my project.

Sure, four stars sounds good. Some of the essays directly helped my project, so I can't give it three. It ain't a beach read, though.
