Reading game books at bedtime again. Still. Anyway, I was marveling once again how much the artwork improved between 2nd and 3rd edition D&D. Not every page is great, but the overall aesthetic is vastly better. And aside from that, it was the usual mixed bag of critters, monsters, undead, and assorted villainy.
