I love me, I love me not-: A study of the Christian woman's self-esteem

Rate this book
As women, we tend to feel better about ourselves when we’ve accomplished something that we found to be difficult or when we realize that our spouses and our children are proud of us for a job well done whether it’s a promotion at work or a Pinterest meal that everyone loved. As Christian women, we can feel better about ourselves just knowing that God loves us. In this now-classic book from Rosemary Whittle McKnight, you can gain insights about how high self-esteem can benefit you personally, professionally, and spiritually. Learn to value yourself in all aspects of your life… just as God values you.

A wonderful read. I will have this book for years to come. My christian friend will love this book. Self esteem seems to be hard to co.e by these days. Well, reading not only gave me more confidence but also a feel for how us humans have every reason to be joyful and calm in an untoward generation.

Although every word in this book is simple and obvious, I couldn't stop thinking of how much we all are losing by forgetting the most simple things that can lead us straight up to fulfilling the will of God. The author reminded me of the most fundamental points I could forget to be closer to Lord Jesus. I am glad to have this book.

I studied this in a group of Christian women. One of the participants claimed that this book was life altering for her. Today, she is a very confident woman and I wonder if she was anything but.
I, however, did not experience the same change but it is a worthwhile study.
