While I got some good nuggets from this book, I really had to slog through a lot of extra fluff to extract them. I've never read a book so in need of editing in my life! I probably should have given it only 1 star, but I appreciate all that I did glean from it. For those involved in Healing Touch, I think it is a valuable book, but you do have to skim through so much extraneous information to get to the useful pieces.
Some of my favorite nuggets (that can apply to anything in life): Focus on what you are doing and the information you need will come through. When faced with someone with differing views (I would have maybe argued to be right before) say, "that has not been my experience". Let go of the outcome because you can misinterpret what is happening. When we are in the present moment (not past or future focused) everything flows evenly, regardless of the event. Focus on what is right and stay grounded. Look at relationships that feed you rather than drain you. Be empowered to recognize your own intuition, connect with your self, and know your own beauty. Go back to the source - every time information is interpreted it changes. All healing is self-healing!
