Best-selling author Lisa Plumley has delighted readers worldwide with more than three dozen popular novels. Her work has been translated multiple languages and editions, and includes contemporary romances, historical romances, paranormal romances, and a variety of stories in romance anthologies.

Her fresh, funny style has been likened to such reader favorites as Rachel Gibson, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, LaVyrle Spencer, and Jennifer Crusie, but her unique characterization is all her own.

Lisa’s alter ego is cozy mystery writer Colette London, whose Chocolate Whisperer mystery series featuring globe-trotting chocolatier (and amateur sleuth!) Hayden Mundy Moore includes Criminal Confections, Dangerously Dark, and The Semi-Sweet Hereafter. It will continue with Dead and Ganache in October 2017 (all from Kensington Books).

I truly hated this book..I wanted to quit after the first few chapters but forced myself to continue on. Oh it was just dreadful. Marley is just horrible from start to finish..the whole concept of the book is so amateur and far fetched. I couldn’t take it any longer and just jumped to the end. A toddler could have written a better story. Do yourself a favor and pass on this dud.

Overall a cute story. Sometimes you had to suspend disbelief but I appreciated the togetherness of the characters. Not sure that the Dream Date component was necessary - just seemed to be another unnecessary plot addition. But I appreciated the interaction of the characters.

Jake is dad to 4-year-old Noah and happy to keep the status quo of two single males. Marley is trying to revamp her acting career and prove she isn't a dumb blond by acting as the girl next door on a reality dating game show. Jake needs to be on the show to keep his job as a sportscaster (to up his rating and renew his contract). The two get matched when the producer sees the chemistry between the two.
This was a cute story of the two trying to move forward career-wise and not looking for love. Of course, love finds its way into their lives. I wouldn't say the story was remarkable or anything spectacular. It was an enjoyable read, but I wonder how much I will remember in a couple of months.
The book does leave some holes for the next in the series--"Perfect Switch." This is the story about Marley's twin sister Meredith. They switch places while Marley is playing the girl next door, so Meredith gets to play the Hollywood starlet...so, what has she been doing all this time?

This is the Story of Marley Madison an actress who found out that it's never too early to be retired, so to stop this from happening she was going to prove to everyone she could really act by going undercover on a reality game show called Dream Date where she meets Jake Jarvis a drool worthy Sports caster and single very protective father that will be her fellow contestant on the show...

I was expecting Marley to be this typical nose in the air Hollywood type specially with the kid but before long I was totally in love with her, and as for Jake he had me hooked from the beginning because even though I'm not a fan of books where the H/H have a kid, the way he interacted with his son and was so hell bent on protecting him was just the icing on this very exciting cake...

This book had me scurrying to find Meredith's story...

A typical chick lit story with a predictable ending but a fun journey. I tend to like these ones with the reality tv spin.
