This is a book that teaches about different types of trains and train cars, how they connect, how they operate, and what they carry

I thought this book was very informative in a way that children can understand. It was written in a way that prompted them to ask further questions and the pictures were very detailed to show the children what the parts of the train look like.

A favorite with our toddler, who loves all things related to trains! This book is a simple explanation of different cars on a train and several well-known train types. Lovely drawings in vibrant colors capture his attention, short descriptions of each car are bracketed with examples of who (or what) would be on that car.

We read it often, but don't think you could write a school report from it or use it for more than a springboard to other more detailed books on trains.

A great educational book for your younger ones. My twin 3 yr old's loved it. Colorful fun pictures that helps get the child engaged and keeps them engaged. A great addition to any children's library.

Every young classroom does a theme on trains. This would be a good book to read to a classroom because its informative and gives facts about trains. I would recommend it.
