if you can ignore the outdated language and all-over-the-place organization, the dedication it takes to photograph all of these flowers yourself cannot go unnoticed. i would have liked to hear more about the stories briefly summarized in the aknowledgements about the creative ways used to capture these photos. while i didn't learn much due to the large amount of information in this book, i enjoyed it anyway.
