Inherited this from my Bubbe (who was an artist) and used it this year for the seders. It's pretty standard issue (the translation isn't censored as much as Artscroll lol). There are some sections of Hebrew without translation (I think mostly Birkat Hamazon and Hallel) and it's missing a few stage directions and doesn't add any indication or kiddush for the later cups.
It has bountiful illustrations but...though diverting, they're weird as hell. I'm not super familiar with Marc or anything, but I've seen his stuff over the years--as any Ashki girl Jewish historian is wont to do. I'm open to artistic styles outside realism, but the art had four major issues:
1) Some of the paintings just weren't appealing to me. They looked sloppy and didn't feel like something I wanted to spend time looking at. The green people just didn't *speak* to me, y'know?
2) MIRIAM THE PROPHETESS JUST DANCING WITH HER TIDDIES OUT WHILE THE OTHER TIMBREL GALS ARE WEARING KIKI RIKIS
3) Moshe has horns in every single picture. BRO. UR HEBREW TRANSLATION GAME IS WEAK AF AND UR FEEDING THE TROLLS
4) It's got a goyishe vibe. No hate, but I felt Yishkah trying to peek his head in here in terms of imagery and symbolism and I'm not happy about it.
