I don't think this book actually taught me anything that I didn't already know. The pictures used were awful, the models looked pretty scary and instead of taking lots of photos they used the same photos over and over again, so I couldn't really tell what techniques they were trying to get across when there was just the same photo before with a hand photoshopped in front of it and some eyeliner photoshopped on as well. So weird! And the costume makeup section was just horrendous! But I guess my roommates and I got a good laugh out of it so it was almost worth it.
This is a very informative little book containing all kinds of tips and tricks based on face shape, skin tone/type, and even [dreaded]age. Several different options for various times of day and occasions. Pretty good all-in-all.
Some good and practical advice for those of us who haven't taken a cosmo class before. The photographs are also quite helpful along with the step-by-step tips.
