This was not just a typical werewolf story. It started out that way, which was initially a letdown, but then it evolved into something quite a bit more. I loved the tie-ins to Greek mythology and biblical concepts, all creating a unique situation and creature, with an equally fascinating trio of leads. Lots of action, some humor, a fair amount of bloodshed, and a nice blend of old school with new age concepts. I really loved how CG Mosley took some big risks here to crate a story that would stand out from the rest of the pack. Yes, that was a werewolf pun. Not too many critiques here. It did drag at times, with some sections containing too much ongoing dialogue, but the pace was pretty good. And it seemed like the author was setting this up to be the first in a series, which would be worth a look, if so. Not a bad experience from CG Mosley.

A truly great read

This book was a page Turner in every sense of the word. The characters were well developed and the plot let me guessing until the final page. This is one of the best first novels you will ever read. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Not your ordinary monster.

I really liked this story. It's a different take on the werewolf type monster. The only thing I felt was missing was a little more about the monster. Anyway, it's a great read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
