Romance: 💙💚💜❤️🖤
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌏
Character development: 🤐🤫🫣☺️🥰
Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Ligeia (a.k.a. Lily) - She is a cat shifter and she decided to go out with her friend Ally to do some dancing to celebrate the fact that all her hard work and effort is finally paying of in her professional life. They go to a club called Vamps without checking the schedule and there is a band instead of a D.J. so she is a bit depressed about that, but she sits down at the bar to get a drink and loosens up a bit. She finds that she is enjoying the songs.

The Hero: Nico (a.k.a. Leggy Bones) - His day job is working in software development as a computer programmer and at night he is the lead singer in a very popular band in the underground music scene called Velvet Cocks (a.k.a. VC’s). The logo is a rooster in a velvet smoking jacket. They are currently promoting their second album.

The Story: The story takes place on the night that the previous book, Fire ends. The VC’s are playing at Vamps and Tristan has a song request for Maya. Lily starts to wish she had a guy that would love her like that, but knows that she can’t trust any man with her secret. She finds that she loves the voice and power of the singer and when she sees him, she is entranced.

This was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Amber Lee Conners and Kieran Flitton. I really like Amber Lee Conners’ voice, it is light and feminine and age appropriate for a twenty-something young professional. Kieran Flitton is not one of my favorite male narrators, but he does a good job. I just tend to like a deeper voice for a male narrator, but that is just personal preference.

I liked the fact that the band is a bit rock, a bit punk and a bit alternative and their songs are as cheeky as their stage names and band name. Lily turns into a mountain lion once a month and doesn’t seem to know anyone else like herself, so she thinks she is too strange to let anyone know about the real her aside from her mother. There are some great supporting characters and a good paranormal storyline.

IGNITE (Underground Encounters Book 3) by Lisa Carlisle is now my favorite of this series!
Vamps underground nightclub is the epicenter of each book in this paranormal romance series that are all easily read as standalone stories. Ms. Carlisle’s world of vampires, shifters, witches and gargoyles just keeps getting better and better.

Book 3 has Lily Everett celebrating a promotion with her friend at Vamps. Lily works hard at her job, works out hard at the gym and is an avid reader who has occasional sex with no commitments. Lily’s night out is interrupted by The Velvet Cocks lead singer and she is not thrilled until she hears him sing. He has a sensual voice that captivates her. Lily is interested, but very guarded and a loner because she has a furry secret that she never shares.

Nico Bedrosian aka Leggy Bones is a rock star by night and a computer geek by day. He is intrigued by the golden eyed beauty who does not seemed interested in him. He gets Lily to let him in enough to be a friend with benefits and those benefits are extremely hot!

Real feelings begin to grow on both sides, but Lily refuses to share why they can never be together. Nico wants to break down Lily’s walls and find out why she is so afraid to commit, but can he really handle the truth?

Lily and Nico are both well fleshed out characters that have many layers to their personalities that make them unique. You can feel for Lily having to grow up with her secret and being too afraid to share. Nico is just perfect with his rock star looks and voice, literary knowledge, geekiness and English accent. These two have explicit, steamy, smokin’ hot sex scenes throughout the story, but they are well placed and realistic to the building relationship.

Ms. Carlisle has built an intriguing paranormal world around Vamps and each book has increased my interest and love of the series. I cannot wait to see who will be introduced next!

My favorite of the series so far! I loved this story. Who would think an IT geek as a hot rocker dude? She's a bit of a geek herself and not a club-hopping-hottie. The hottie fits. She's a loner because she has a big secret. One she can't share. She doesn't even understand about it herself. Something about Lily draws Nico. He's been known to take advantage of his rockstar chick magnetism, yet it has lost its shine until Lily. Just his luck, she's not interested. Or is she?

While she gave him a cold shoulder, she can't stop thinking about him. Then they meet again. This time ... it's cute so you need to read about it. Let's just say that cold shoulder is gonna heat up just fine.

Lily agrees to a sex-only meeting only with no future ahead for them. He'll take what he can get, hoping to change her mind. Will he?

Both characters are interesting and not your typical PNR relationship. I thoroughly enjoyed their romp, was just as frustrated as Nico with her secret. Vamp has another great couple to bring together.

You'll need a fan and iced drink for this one. A strong recommend from me.

From the Words of Edgar Allen Poe

This is the third book of this great series that has totally enthralled me, just hearing the name of the Underground Club Vamps, has me sweating because I know something smoldering is going to blossom there.

Lily really doesn't want to be at Vamps, but her BFF finally got to her to go with her to celebrate her promotion. She really doesn't like this scene and much less the punk rockers playing that crazy music, but when she hears his crooning voice all thought escapes her. What kind of name is that though, Leggy ugh! Leggy is hot to say the least and he seems to take an interest in her, but she gives him the brush off, biatchy as usual. But when she encounters him again outside of Vamps all rational thought goes out the window, but it can only be a passing thing because she holds a secret too intense to allow for anything else. If she can't even stand it, how will he react, no better to be aloof if she can that is.

Computer Geek by day and Rock Star by night Nico (Leggy) is tired of one night stands with groupies, he wants something more meaningful, he wants what he can't have....Lily She is his muse from the moment he first laid eyes on her at Vamps, but she won't have anything permanent with him, why is incomprehensible, but he will give it his all to have her no matter what she is hiding, if he can withstand it that is.

This is the third book in the series and brings Nico and Lily's story. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes. She takes you into their lives with a steamy chemistry and love and kept me glued to the pages right to the end. It's well written, moves fluidly and is a terrific read.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.

I think the title of the book is more than appropriate

This two singe the pages with their passion. Who doesn’t like a rock star? But he is really a Geek? No way. Nico is a wonderful character and Lily is wonderful. A shifter human romance to love. I hope the other members of the band find their HEA too.

Night Owl Review

Original Review Published here: http://www.nightowlreviews.com/v5/Rev...

‘Rock Me Tonight’ is the third book in the Underground Encounters series by Lisa Carlisle. While this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone without any confusion. Lily Everett has a secret she is sure that no one will understand. She tries to keep her distance from Nico who has not just a wonderful voice but is very good looking. Lily intrigues Nico especially since she did not fall into his arms. This change when Lily finally shows Nico her secret and he is shocked by it.

Lily is a unique character. She has had a different life. While I can hot imagine living with her secret she takes on the issue with grace I am sure that I or too many others could not. I loved that she was not bitter at all, but she was realistic.

Nico is not just a good looking singer but a super smart one. He is a computer geek. I loved his attitude toward singing and his day job. I don’t fault Nico for his reaction to Lily’s secret as I am sure most people would have that reaction. I enjoyed that Nico thought about everything and then went back for Lily.

The chemistry between Lily and Nico is off the charts. The sex is hot and steamy. They are a great match together in and out of the bedroom. I can’t see Nico ever telling Lily’s secret. I can even see him try to help her find her father’s family. (In my opinion that would make for a great sequel!)

Overall, this was a great book. I loved that I was surprised and intrigued in reading the book and the summery did not give away the main focus of the book. I really hope there is a sequel. I would love to see how Lily and Nico do down the line.

I was interested in the “rock” singer story – I have friends in bands and well, their relationships never ended well. Legia, aka Lily meets the lead singer of a punk band one night in Boston. Instantly the sparks fly, yet Lily is unwilling and unable to enter into anything more than a sexual encounter with Leggy Bones (aka Nico).

I found it hard to appreciate Lily and her rather hot and cold personality and reaction to Nico. Yes, I understood her secret, but she was so unwilling to share even little bits that it took quite a while to warm up to her. Not so with Nico: even when she was taunting him about the band and potential groupies – he was intelligent, warm and quite good natured – despite her ice-cream headache inducing personality.

Fortunately, as Lily revealed more of herself, and started to ask questions, she became easier to empathize with, and her concerns seems less ‘overreaction’ and more actual. Yet Nico, despite some pretty normal reactions at first discovery of her secret, came around so well and quickly that he should have been whiplashed.

The one area that never failed to excite in this story was the sex – anywhere and everywhere, with the alternating POV between the characters giving very realistic reactions, even when it was boneless panting. Lisa Carlisle has penned a really good story here in this installment; I’m now going to search out the first two in the series.

I received an eBook from the publisher for purpose of honest review for the Jeep Diva. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Celebrating a promotion at work Ligeia ‘Lily’ Everett agrees to check out Vamps with her best friend Ally. Going to a club isn’t Lily’s typical M.O. She tends to haunt bookstores or work out at the fitness center where she made friends with Ally, a yoga instructor. When the itch hits, Lily keeps it strictly to one night stands because she has a secret that makes it impossible to have a real relationship.

The band playing at Vamps tonight is none other than Velvet Cocks, an underground garage band quickly gaining popularity. Lily can’t believe it when the lead singer Leggy Bones aka Nico Bedrosian hits on her. From there a cat and mouse game between the pair begins. For every forward step that Nico gains Lily takes two back. How can she ever contemplate a relationship with Nico when the full moon calls to her every month?

A budding romance navigates shaky ground in Rock Me Tonight. Engaging characters and a plotline that keeps readers guessing proves entertaining in the third Underground Encounters story. Lily is burdened with a secret she’s carried since puberty, one that forces her to be alone. This character yearns for a companion to call her own. Nico is a good man whose faith in reality is questioned by Lily. This series is addictive.

This is book three of the Underground Encounters series and the main characters are Lily (Ligeia) Everett, who is celebrating a job promotion with a friend, and Nico Bedrosian, a computer geek during the day and the lead singer, aka Leggy Bones, in a rock band called Velvet Cocks at night. They meet when he is playing with his band at the club Vamps, in Boston, and he overhears her being congratulated at the bar and buys her and her friend some champagne. When he comes back and asks her name, she plays hard to get wanting a bit more than just a one night stand or to be yet another groupie. She doesn’t believe him when he tells her he is a computer geek for his main job. Neither can forget about the other, with Lily looking the band up on the internet, whilst Nico looks for her at the club every weekend. They meet by chance a few weeks later, in a bookstore and she finds he has a lot more in common with her than she thought. She finally gives him her real name and email and she allows him to arrange a date for the following week, she can’t do that weekend as she has a certain special place to be, to answer the call of the moon. Something she can never tell anyone and which she hates with a passion every full moon, and no, she isn’t a wolf shifter! The two get intense and close so fast, it doesn’t seem like they will ever part. But she can’t have a relationship because of her secret, something that comes from her dead father’s side and that her mother had no idea of until she shifted for the first time!

When she meets Nico again he tries asking her more about herself, but she closes herself off, realising she needs to finish with him. She has one last night with him and kisses him goodbye, but he wakes up and catches her. She tries to lie about why she can’t see him again, but he knows she’s lying. She has to speak to someone about him and so speaks to her mother, who understands how hard things have been for her, but wants something more for her daughter. Lily decides she will tell Nico her secret but he needs to wait until the next full moon, which he doesn’t quite understand. She takes him out to the mountains and when she shifts, he is shocked and backs away in fear, which makes her run off. He leaves town to go home, only to realise he had made a mistake to leave her and how much he must have hurt her. Lily needs time to think about what she wants from her life and stays in the mountain all night, ending up shifting unexpectedly the next day and putting herself in danger. A mountain couple find her and take her back to their cabin, answering her questions about their kind and help her shift without pain. She has to go back to work eventually, but comes across Nico who has been looking for her! They can’t stay apart and he wants to see her every day, but she makes him go a bit slower or tries to at least. New options come into play for Lily when she returns, as she starts to consider a better work life balance with Nico and he gets the chance to play at Vamps again.

I received an ARC copy of IGNITE in exchange for voluntarily leaving a review.

To celebrate her recent promotion Lily Everett gets dragged out by her friend to goth club Vamps to see rock band The Velvet Cocks. Less than impressed until she hears sexy front man Leggy Bones start to sing drawn in by his sultry vocals. Leggy also drawn to her later introduces himself to her, but Lily has a furry secret and while the attraction is mutual she tries to keep him at arm's length. A game of cat and mouse ensues until they both finally give into the undeniable desire they have for each other, but Lisa is scared to tell Leggy, or real name Nico, the truth and tries pushing away numerous times. Will she finally let her walls down and give him the chance to know the real her? And will Nico be able to accept her for who she really is?

Lisa Carlisle does it again. She builds amazing chemistry between two characters all centered around Club Vamps. I love the unique twist that the shifter in this book is female for a refreshing change. Both main characters are well developed and the story is well-paced. The only downside for me was that towards the end of the book Lily gets a bit too wishy-washy about her feelings for my taste and pushes Nico away a time or two more than I felt was necessary drawing the story out a bit and making it feel a bit repetitive. Overall though that didn't detract too much from the pacing and it was still a great read. The bedroom scenes were hot, hot, hot, and I loved the build-up and anticipation between the couple. This book will be sure to get your toes curling. It's a great standalone read, or a perfect addition to the series.

I absolutely loved this paranormal romance!! Ignite is a great read with just the right amount of story and sexiness! Who would have thought to have a geeky, nerdy guy leading a double life as rock star!! It works well within this story I say!

Lily has a secret. And because of that, she doesn't do relationships-yet alone let someone get close to her. Things go haywire for her when out at the Vamps nightclub, she meets a sexy rocker. She was first drawn to his deep and moving voice, then once she saw him....she was done like dinner! He was so attracted to him! She tries to keep him at bay, but after a couple of dates, Lily can't get Nico out of her head. She can't let him in though-he would never understand....

Nico is a computer engineer writing code by day, and lead singer of a punk rock band by night! He spots Lily when his band is playing a gig, and just has to meet her. He's all shy and fumbling which was totally adorable. Soon Nico can't live with just being casual with Lily. He wants more and he can sense she does too. What's holding her back??

I loved how this story evolved. Lily was very cool towards everybody-even her best friend. She never let anybody close to her because she viewed her shifter side as a curse. I loved the romance that blossomed, but I also loved the journey that Lily took to find herself. She discovered her true self and I am glad she set her head straight about things. Lily and Nico were good together and I had high hopes that they would work everything out!

Ignite is a solid entry to the Underground Encounters series and I definitely look forward to the next book!

Lily doesn't go out much at night, but her best friend, Ally, convinces her to celebrate her promotion with a night at Vamps, an underground nightclub with great music. She's glad she did, once she takes a glance at the gorgeous and sexy lead singer. Leggy (Nico) Bones' claim to fame it that he's an IT guy by day and a rock star by night with class and substance. Ally senses something different in him, not just his beautiful face but the poetic way he speaks. Of course, that British accent doesn't hurt, either. Lily intrigues him, with her sexy dress, tawny hair and eyes. When he overhears Ally say that she's there celebrating her new promotion, he buys her champagne. He really wants to know her name, but she's reluctant to give him her real name and settles on Cara. Nico wants to know why she's so secretive, but he wants to see her enough that he doesn't question her. Finally, she lowers her defenses and lets him in. She tells him that she doesn't want a relationship, she can only be a lover. She's harboring a secret that has kept her from ever allowing a man completely into her life. For the time being, Nico is fine with it. But his heart wants more. He won't accept being only friends with benefits. In her heart, Lily feels the same but she can't let him know what happens to her each month. Nico is in agony, not having Lily in his life, and begs her to tell him her secret. It doesn't go well and he flees, causing Lily to look deep inside and face her fears. This is a captivating and passionate story with beautifully drawn characters and authentic locations that lend a sense of charm. A truly original love story!

Underground Encounters 3: Ignite
Where do you go when you want to celebrate? The trendiest and slightly Goth nightclub in the hidden warehouse district, Vamps! The music is eclectic with various shades of black attire. There is dancing, singing and sometimes a live band. Things just seem a little otherworldly.
Let’s go. The drinks have all fun names that seem to echo Edgar Allen Poe’s writings. There is a sign that states: Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
Ally and her friend Lily are celebrating Lily’s promotion. They walk in to a live band playing with a hot lead singer. Nico over hears them celebrating and buys them a bottle of champagne. Lily rebuffs his advances and refuses to give him her name even as she is intrigued by him. She finds out he is an IT geek by day and Alternative Band member by night and weekends. Lily is somewhat of a geek as well being a loner with a communications and marketing degree. She is hiding a big secret.
They fall for each other in a sweet romance. Can Lily share her secret of will it be too much of a scary furry secret for a human to understand?
I really liked this book. These stories about different people are intriguing and very compelling. There are references to Edgar Allen Poe throughout. Lily’s real name is Legeia, homage to a Poe short story. Then Nico writes music about the famous and beautiful poem Annabel Lee. Yes, I did read both after reading this book.
This series keeps getting better and better!

There were things I like about this story and then things that were just blah.  I liked that the paranormal aspect of the story was the heroine.  It’s rare that the female in this type of story is the one who is the shifter.  I found it refreshing. What I didn’t like was that she fought her shifter nature.

I liked the relationship between Lily and Nico and their chemistry was intense.  But going back to her fighting her nature; she was just very wishy-washy with her feelings.  It made the story start to feel repetitive, and I was getting bored.

I honestly felt that there was more fluff than story and a lot was either repetitive or just not needed.   Like the last two chapters weren’t required and I skimmed.  But by then I was bored and ready to be done.  Lily and Nico’s story started out strong for me then just fizzled.  There was no culmination, no breaking point, nothing.  Yawn.   Even Nico discovering Lily’s secret wasn’t exciting.

I think this could have been a lot better if the repetitiveness of Lily going back and forth with herself over her secret and Nico obsessing was cut down.  Also, try keeping superfluous plotlines out or down to a minimum.  Unless future books are planned with these characters, so much detail isn’t needed.

This is book 3 in Lisa Carlisle's series Underground Encounters and we meet new characters Lilly and Nico in the now infamous club VAMP. I love how this series flows and interconnects with the characters with the common thread of this club. Nico is the lead singer of an up and coming band - love the band name and logo as well as the song themes - I won't spoil it for you, but be sure to read this book! Anyway Nico is the lead singer but there is so much more to this band as they still have their techie day jobs, Lilly is a career driven woman with secrets who keeps people at bay. These two meet at - of course, VAMP - and the chemistry is instant but both try to fight the instant attraction - but after playing hard to get Lilly can't get Nico out of her mind so when a chance meeting happens she decides to let him in the little bit she can - only he somehow buries himself deeper than she could imagine. Will she share her secrets with him and if she does will he stand by her - or will her secrets destroy them both?!? Great character growth with a smooth flowing storyline. Loved the dual narration and the balance of sweet and steam. A beautiful romance!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Lily is out with her friend to Vamps. They're celebrating her promotion at work. There's a me bank and she likes how the lead singer looks. After his set he goes to meet her. He buys her and her friend Champagne to celebrate that promotion. Lily keeps to herself because she has a secret she can't tell anyone. She's a mountain lion shifter. Every full moon she head to the mountains to shift. What she doesn't realize is that there are two mountain shifters there. She sees them but thinks they're regular mountain lions. The couple different on the idea of telling her about themselves. He's for waiting till the time is right.
Nico, aka Leggy Bones, send to fall for Lily from the git go. But she's a hard one to win. Eventually they meet in a bookstore. Eventually they go on a date. She tries to explain without b actually telling him her secret that she's only looking for a short term relationship. Then after two glorious days together she leaves.
She talks to her mother and finally decides to tell him her truth.
What will he do when she does,? Will Katrina and Angelo be able to help her?

This is what I’m talking about! Lisa Carlisle hit this one out of the park! I loved this! There was more emotion and character depth in this one. The story is a little more intricate as well.

First off I loved these two characters! That band! Great band name! Also love those character names! The double life of IT worker and rock and roller is so far apart but this author did it with style! Nico is such a doll! So kind, considerate and sexy I loved his character from the beginning.

Lily is in a class all her own. A shifter that has problems. I loved her background story. She became a strong woman/shifter by the end. She amazed me!

I listened to this on Audio. Kieran Flitton and Amber Lee Connors narrated this delightfully exciting story. They did a great job.
I look forward to Vamp!

Audio book review

This story will rock your ears . Lisa Carlisle wrote a story full of action, mystery the hero has 2 sides to his person . There are many layers. This is a mixed shifter story .
Hero is Nico. A computer geek by day and a hot rocker by night. Heroine is Lily.
The story takes place in a small town in Massachusetts. The club is called Vamps. Lily doesn’t want to be at the bar but she went with her friend anyway, .... but once she hears Nico aka Leggy sing she can’t stay away . One thing leafs to another and the attraction is hot. Lilly has to tell him that things can only be temporary. Nico is wondering why and what is Lily hiding .

The performance of Amber Lee Connors, Kieran Flitton was good. It was the first time I heard them. Their voice is great

Omg! She did it again! Each of these 5 star stand-alone must reads is as good or better than the previous book :) "IGNITE" is the perfect name for Nico & Lily's chemistry- the H/h in this book, so be forewarned to wear gloves when reading this one :o Maybe even have a fire extinguisher handy, too ;) lol ... Another unique storyline in contemporary PNR, with well defined characters & awesome attention to detail that will engage readers just like it did me. This page-turner kept me glued to my seat not wanting to stop right from the get-go, then left me wanting more! I voluntarily read this without any outside influences, so I can honestly recommend this to 18+ adult fans of fiction!

Nico and Lily were both great characters with good chemistry. Of course I'm starting to believe that if you meet at club Vamps yours going to have a wild ride. This was not a smooth running relationship however as Lily was afraid to reveal her secret and Nico didn't at first react well to it. Needless to say it wasn't so easy for him to convince Lily of that fact. We did have an HEA and I am awaiting the next installment to see what will happen next at Vamps. Each story stands alone but I would recommend all of them. Loved it! I am giving my voluntary honest review on an arc I received.

Oh my goodness..is this book hot or what?
Ligeia (Lily) meets the dark smoldering band member Leggy Bones (Nico) of the band Velvet Cocks at the Underground club called Vamps..They're first meeting is awkward..Lily is out with her friend Ally celebrating a work promotion.
What starts out as a relationship of only hot sex....turns into something quite more.
But with her secret, it could be the end before it really gets going...
Will Nico be able to handle it? Can they work through it and build the relationship they both want?
Grab this hot read and enter Lisa's Underground Encounters..

Loving This Series

An "underground" club in a small Massachusetts seaside town, Vamp, is the setting for this paranormal series. VC- Velvet Cock- is the band featured in this series. Leggy is the lead singer. A computer geek by day and rocker by night he meets Lilly. Entranced she intrigues him. Aloof and distant she tells him she can only be his lover. But there's just something about her that he can't resist and he wants more.

I loved how this installment touches on how people put on a mask to protect themselves. How secrets can pique interest and hurt a relationship at the same time.

I loved this book. Lily and Nico were incredible characters that are easy to connect with and root for. The story line offers lots of steam, emotional turmoil, tension, drama and heart. My heart ached for Lily and Nico had me swooning. This couple's chemistry was incendiary and their scenes were so hot!! This book features dual narrators, which I always appreciate. I thought the narrators did a terrific job in bringing this book to life and in helping the listener connect to the characters. All together, this is a excellent book and a solid addition to a very enjoyable PNR series.

Ignite was my first encounter with Lisa Carlisle's writing and the Underground Encounters series. Albeit the book being the third in line I read it easily as a standalone. The plot and the characters were well written and interesting. I found myself captivated by the story and keep listening.

I think I found two more favorite narrators to search for in the future. Both Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton did a fantastic job with this narration. I loved their voices and their clear speech. Kudos for the quality too.

Story: 4 stars
Narration: 5 stars

A rock star you can like

I enjoyed the story. I liked that the band was full of nerds aka smart professional guys looking for more. They became people they weren't and tried some new things. Didn't like how some let the band persona take over and make them think they could use woman. But Nico was trying to be better and Lily changed her mind because he was all that. Good story. Kimd of out there. Would have liked a bit more info for her from the shifters. All in all a good read.

A Good Read

From the moment he met her, she was a challenge and he loved a challenge! Nico was a lead singer in a rock band and could have any woman he wanted but he just wanted Lily. He knew when they started a relationship the boundaries she had given to him had to be kept until she was ready for more but he pushed and pushed until she revealed all.

Their love life lit the sheets but could he accept who she really was?

A good storyline with some ups and downs along the way!.

I'm starting to run out words to describe how much I love Lisa Carlisle's books.

Lily meets Nico, computer nerd by day and Rock God by night with a sexy English accent at the Goth club, Vamps. They hit off rather well, but Lily has a huge secret she thinks will be a deal breaker for any relationship she wants to have.

The characters and their relationships are so awesome and well written that they feel real and like I want to be a part of their world. And the suspense of will she or won't she, kept me hooked and I couldn't put it down.

Vamp is the place to be to find your other half. Just don’t expect them to always be human. The third book of the series brings Lily and her friend to Vamp to celebrate. What she didn’t expect was to fall for the singer of the band playing. But her secret will stop her from letting things go beyond the bedroom. And might destroy any chance she has for the man she really wants. Things do heat up between the sheets with these two.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Take a walk on the wild side

Sometimes being unique hurts and that is what Lily feels is wrong with her life. Nico is drawn to her right from the beginning but doesn't understand why she wants to stay so aloof. Trust is a big part of this story and Lily doesn't believe she can ever trust anyone with her other life. It takes others to show her who she can be and it takes Nico continuously opening himself up to get past her fears.
