Kitty Margo grew up in a small North Carolina town nestled between the Pee Dee and Rocky Rivers. She began writing when her children were small. Having too many interests to stick to one genre, she has written books for the YA, historical romance, and women's fiction audience.
Kitty has three amazing sons and four completely adorable grandchildren. She enjoys cruises with her girlfriends, traveling to historic destinations, reading, visits to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She still lives in her North Carolina town with her youngest son, a song writing and beat making wizard, so there is never a dull, or quiet, moment.

a refreshing change of pace for me. after reading so many romance novels I had all but forgot about others genres. Beware the River is a well written fast passed story. and believe me when I say that if a red eyed ghost buffalo appears to me, more than once to! I would wet myself more than just one time!

This book had a good premise and a lot of awesome things could have been done with it, but I felt the story was under developed. It seemed more like a polished first draft than a fully realized novel.
