Temporary marriage is an interesting perspective of marriage and love by Islam that was hushed away from religion as the socio-cultural collective thought otherwise. It needs a revival in this modern era and time that we are a part of. We have to understand that we cannot cherry-pick what we want and leave out what we want from our understanding of religion.

I am glad to have read the social implications in which Islam views society and how open it is to the physical needs of both sexes. Another thing that makes me it so interesting is the fact that a Japanese woman who did her PhD in fiqh(Islamic Jurisprudence) wrote this text. For some reason, I find that quite intriguing.
