Joe De Mers (1910-1984) was an American artist that specialised in illustrating post-war American women in a non-stereotypical fashion. In 1997, he was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame.
Unbelievably original, thought-provoking, suspenseful, and timeless. This book was written in 1996, and I found it as relevant today as when I first read it 22 years ago. My only complaint about the book is that it is a little overwritten to the point where the vocabulary and description sometimes distract from the story. But overall, incredible read.
A piece where belief and mystery collide. What if Christ manifested in today's world. How would he be received? I was given this book by a local pastor. Probably to guard against a messianic complex. lol! No worries though. I'm not that type of teacher.
