Not so much a rigid diet plan, but shows you how to eat "cleaner" (more plant-based, veggies, whole grains, lean protein, less processed food & white carbs, etc.) in order to reverse the aging process and lose weight. Great in theory and much of it is common sense. Author is an internist and dermatologist.

I liked the information about how diet affects your skin. Was surprised to see that are proponents of "clean eating". I thought this would be more of a low-fat, artificial sweetener type plan. They don't touch on exercise, but really focus on how your diet affects your appearance in so many ways. Good, quick read.

Meh. I ended up just flipping through it. The interesting part of this diet book was that it also addressed skincare and foods you should eat to make your hair, nails, and skin healthy. Maybe I'll pick it up after another 10 years.

Don't waste your time. Unless this is your first time hearing about eating healthy.

Here's the basics: Vegetables are good, white bread is not. What you put in your body reflects on the outside.

Duh.
