A remarkable story filled with rich, developed characters and vivid descriptions of life in the Middle East. The novel sheds light on the differences and distinctions between Islamic and Western culture. It also opens up the spiritual dimensions of a forlorn and discouraged Christian missionary seeking to make an impact for the Kingdom of God... who realizes that God is always at work in strange and unexpected ways.
