This was and is one of my favourite books. Ive read it like 10 or more times. I absolutely love the story even now as an adult. I like that Puck is such a daring kid and that him and his friend did anything to keep the kids happy even though they had to. But they really did try their best (and even take on a detective case) even though thats not how they wanted to spend their summer.
this book was a fun read. it's really good, despite the wacky title. it has some pretty sweet action at the end and is really funny...grapes with ketchup...frenchfries with maple syrup...yumyumyum, i'll never forget this book.
I remember reading this back when I was very young. I remember having the flu and reading this. I loved it even in my deluded flu-like state. I'd love to read it again to reminisce about my childhood, although I can't remember the plot...
This was my favorite book in third grade, and despite the weird title, it's actually really good, even if it's on a slightly low level- I like the tie ins to food =D
I really liked Spinach with Chocolate Sauce because it was a realistic fiction, but it was also a mystery. And I just liked the characters a lot and everything!
