The author hits the nail on the head. Many of our youth think that at 16 to 19 years old, they’re prepared for life, because they excel in sports. It takes a special coach or mentor to make certain these athletes are prepared for life and the consequences they face, if they don’t practice discipline.
Excellent book. Written in an easy-to-read format that makes it compelling to follow each life lesson. An appropriate book for athletes young and old. More youth athletes need to be reminded of the big-picture lessons their sports should be teaching them. Highly recommended.
