Everyone is counting on me to change the world, but I can barely handle the changes within myself. Just as I think things are getting better, they nosedive and fall through the sky like a sack of bricks. And I can’t help but think they’re going to get way worse… I just have this feeling I can’t shake. Millions of lives are in my hands. My life is, too. This destiny isn’t one I chose, and I’m so close, I can taste it…or is that the sour flavor of deceit? I’m not even sure I want this life, let alone will be able to survive it. Or the intense love I find myself drowning in. 𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕀 𝕗𝕝𝕪, 𝕠𝕣 𝕗𝕒𝕝𝕝? 𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕀 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖, 𝕠𝕣 𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕖. Is my ending hidden in deception, or will it be absolved as I forge my path to victory?
HOLY CLIFFHANGER. Another one! Imagine my shock when I realized there is another book coming and it left me feeling all kinds of things. I’m choked I have to wait to read the next one. The title of this book is 100% accurate. There’s always fuck ups with these men, but hoooooly Hannah.. This last fuck up was next level and I don’t know how they are going to recover from that. I’m so hurt for Diana – she is finding out who she is, she is growing, and then this shit happens and will likely set her back.. A lot.
I am obsessed with all of the characters; Ares is hilarious and so in love with his little goddess and so over the top that you can’t help but be in there with him and his craziness. Desmond fucked up but is slowly working his way back in. Mal royally fucked up but he won her back in the absolute sweetest way and I love the two of them together. And Bash is Bash, crazy crazy but you can’t help but feel for him too.
Then her brother Oisin – I love this man and he deserves the title of best big brother ever. Her two fathers, I feel meh about. Especially Lucifer because god damn, that man is still only looking out for himself, that will never change.
My only wish was that this book had some more MM scenes like the first book in this series. Ever since Diana came in to the picture, that has dwindled. And I want it back, because the dynamic between the boys is important too. But damn, some of those scenes are drool worthy.
All in all, 5/5 for this series.
I enjoyed this book so much and am thankful I received an ARC of this book in return for my honest review.
In this third installment in M. Bonnet’s dark paranormal why choose? romance series, our heroine Diana Rossi, her five men, and various other allies work together to try to figure out why people want Diana dead.
I love that this series is the perfect mix of lighthearted and angsty. It has a very good selection of laugh out loud moments as well as dark scenes. I love that I can be laughing one minute and then gasping at a plot twist in the next.
Diana is a very powerful immortal, and I love that with the help of her men, she gets to explore her power and test her limits. I admire her snarky personality and sassy nature, as well. I’ve loved binge reading this series so far, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
My girl be killing the prn game! Dianna and her delicious delicious men never stop amazing me! These twists and turns oofff! 5stars is never enough for what M writes! Mal will forever and always be mine and my favorite love him so so much! I can't wait to see what's in store!!!!!! 10/10 recommend and you won't be sorry!!
Book 3 of M. Bonnets Dangerous Love series is here, and holy cow, is it good!! This story is just getting better, and when you think you know what's going to happen or it starts to calm down, there is a twist that happens that throws everything out the window! It is fast-paced, and the storyline runs very smoothly. The characters are all amazing, and I love each one for their own reason, from the fmc to every mmc to the side characters! It picks up at the ending of book 2, so we dont lose any time or any information. Right off we start fast and with a lot of information, leaving not only the characters but you stunned as well. So many questions needing to be answered, Where and what's going on with Desmon and Nonna? Why did her 2 fathers abaddon her? What is Reds and Damon plan and when are they attacking next? And how do they always know their plan. I am absolutely in love where this book went, and to see the final book that will for sure have its final showdown.
Diana and her men return in the third installment of this exciting series. The paranormal world isn't what you expect it to be when this author is in charge. A witch, a fallen angel, a demon or two, an incubus, a Greek god, and two otherworldly fathers are all an unlikely combination to end the evil forces that are trying to take over the world, but Diana is bound and determined to win. Diana has to deal with Sebastian, Desmond, Malcolm, Azazel, and Ares in between all the chaos. Whether one-on-one or in multiples, the men are a handful. There are lots of smexy times, temper blowouts, fighting scenes, anger, lovey-dovey moments, laughter, and did I mention hot times between Diana and her dudes? This book leads up to what will be one heck of a battle in the last book when good triumphs over evil. There is a cliffhanger ending to Hidden In Deception, but I know Diana is in good hands until book four releases.
Honestly, I haven’t been a fan since the first book but want to see how she can save or destroy the world when 90% is straight her getting banged and be told what to do.
When book two made like zero progress I just decided skip to the end only to find out everything continues and there’s another book 😩
I am officially done. I am sure some ppl love this but I truly hated everyone, the character development, insta attraction/ love is all just meh.
I liked the first and second books. Diana was a little annoying but often understandable. Book three has completely turned me off the series. Diana just wallows in self-pity and Bash is going from possessive and mischievous to mean and stupid. The characters keep making horrible decisions and as this is the third book we shouldn’t be running all over the ground covered in the first book. I kept thinking it will get better and I’ll fall back into the rhythm but it got worse and more annoying.

‼️Check TW’s before reading‼️
I absolutely loved the first two book, however there was something in this one that was lacking. Don’t get me wrong I loved the book, but it just didn’t grab me like the others and I found I wasn’t as eager to read, I can’t actually pinpoint why I felt this way with this book, probably a mixture of a few things??
Desmond’s whole rescue was a bit odd and weak too, he was altered after his torture with Red (which was understandable and well written) but then he was mind swept and everything was just done! Okay they watched him for a few weeks and he has a hidden link to Red, even so it just ended!! I felt there could have been more to it! The rescue of Nonna was the same - fantastic and well written rescue but then effectively just finished, I mean she was in a weakened stated and on deaths door but then she was ok and not mentioned again!!!
The pace in this one is a bit of an up and down ride for me and repetitive in places, even their s*xy times didn’t really capture me! This one was very light with MM scenes, which was disappointing as I loved the groups relationship together, however they didn’t seem as close in this one! There was also hints of a growing relationship with Ares and Azazel but you didn’t get anything but the a few flirtatious remarks, so hopefully we’ll get more in the next book?
I have very mixed feelings about Lucifer, I‘m unsure if he’s using Diana to just get his throne back or he does actually love her as his daughter. I mean his actions and manipulation behind her back is unsettling for a loving father right??
However regardless of all the above I still gave it a five star as I really loved the battles and fight scenes. Also, as the title of the book state….she had A LOT of deception to deal with, which was a shocking end to the book
I‘m really looking forward to the grovelling Diana’s men are going to have to do!!
Oof. The title of this book is exactly that. If you thought the guys messed up earlier in the books from mating bonds/bites to breeding desires, they really messed up in this one. I'm telling you my jaw dropped when some of the secrets were revealed and I was so upset for Diana. They seemed to be doing so well too! After earlier books things were mending and there was trust building, words of love exchanged. But these acts of betrayal? I am not sure how the guys are going to come back from this. If there isn't a great deal of groveling, I don't want it.
The guys weren't the only ones to mess up either. I think what really upset me in this book is Lucifer. After all of this time he hasn't changed or learned. He still looks out for #1, himself, without any regard to how anyone around him feels or what they want. You can tell that he wants to be a good father and loves Diana in his own way. He wants to protect her, that's clear. He wants her to train and become strong, but I don't think he realizes that the same actions that messed up his relationship with Michael, are going to result in the same downfall for his relationship with his daughter. His decisions and secrets are going to bite him in the butt and I don't think things will end well or repair easily. He had a hand in leaving Diana to be raised in the human world, but with that comes the emotional human side of it. The actions that he could get away with with other immortals and supes, will not fly with her. She will not forgive or forget easily, she will be hurt, and her trust in him as a father will be shattered.
Even with all of this going on, the book was AMAZING! Such an emotional rollercoaster with an equal amount of action as Diana, her "friends", and their allies fought against Red and Damon. Diana came such a long way in this book, especially since the beginning was a bit rough for her. Her powers flourished and I loved seeing everything that she was capable of and how determined she was to learn and train as much as she did. Only place to go from here is up and I can't wait to see what happens to her in the next and final book in this series.
So let me just start by saying that I am not typically a person who enjoys reading fantasy or paranormal romances as all . But M Bonnet truly has done the impossible and brought me over to the dark side . Because not only is her Dangerous lovers series the exception but I’ve become pretty obsessed with each and every book I’ve read so far . Well Hidden In Deception was no different ( all my expectations were exceeded and my mind was blown in all the best ways . What a wild ride - a storyline that left me utterly speechless, made me so freaking frustrated I was yelling and trying not to throw my iPad clear across the room , then bam my heart seriously felt like it was being ripped right outta my chest with tears streaming down my face . Man this series just keeps getting better and better. . So many questions are answered and just when you think you’ve figured out what’s going to happen next your completely thrown for a loop ( because there are new twists and turns you will not see coming . So expect the unexpected and prepare yourself to be left with more questions. Dark , raw , gritty and extremely emotional, angst , witty banter , humor , secrets , revelations, non stop action , tragedy, drama , unexpected surprises, oh so steamy moments, heartbreaking and heartfelt ones as well . And characters that ate so unique , so beautifully written and very multi layered that you cannot help but become 100% invested in each and everyone . Hidden In Deception is a must read , a emotional rollercoaster that’s not only unforgettable and unputdownable but a masterpiece in every single way . Really there’re just aren’t enough words to do this book or phenomenal series enough justice. Run as fast as you can and experience it all for yourself 🖤🖤🖤
I am beyond shocked this book was even better then the previous.
My heart bleeds for Diana, all the pain suffering and betrayals left right and center from those she cares for most!
Through the twist and turns she tried to stay strong she did her best but those guys are just....
Yeah sometimes getting back up is to to hard and you have to do whats best for you not the collective.
So so many heart felt moments so many secrets, sometimes i thought i knew what it could be and be proven wrong the next page.
The one thing i thought was true is true.
This book took me in a vise grip and said keep reading and so i did.
Book 2 was prettt darn good but this one blew it all out the water i am so so in love with this series.
Ares is stil my main love eventho hes on the sh!tlist and naughty bench and he is frecking insane obviously i knew this but man seeing him and Voice work together yeah its breathtaking but also little crazy!!
And oh my lord Oisin! Yeah hes just scary when hes made and i freaking love it haha Think hes the big brother all of us wish we had! I know i sure do.
All in all as i said this book blew it out the water and theres only 1 book left that thought makes me sad but i also know that it will blow my mind and scramble my braincells.
We pick up where In The Devil's Shadow left off. Desmond and Nonna are missing and Dianna and the rest of her men, along with her dads, brother, aunt, and Lucifer's connections, are doing whatever they can to find them, and bring down the big bad Red, along with Dianna's other brother, Damon. We also get a bit more of Ares' backstory, when the crew travels to Mount Olympus to enlist the help of Ares' estranged family. Dianna is coming into her powers and becoming even more of a badass! But she's also learning who she can and cant trust.
So many secrets are brought to light in this book, including a huge bombshell that's revealed towards the end...my jaw is still on the floor! The book ends on a cliffhanger, setting up for the next and final book in the series. I can't believe it's coming to an end. Even though there is drama going on and the group is fighting to take back control of the world from Red, we still get plenty of spicy moments, and they don't disappoint!
Hidden in Deception is the third book in the Dangerous Lovers series and picks up right where In the Devil’s Shadow finished.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a massive paranormal romance lover, but I can say with all my heart that I love this series and will never stop recommending it. Since the beginning of this series, Maggie's writing has completely captured my attention, and I'm now absolutely addicted. I am completely smitten with this book—from the characters to the plot, spice, banter, and cliffhangers. Not to mention, this series features one of my all-time favourite book boyfriends, who, while occasionally acting like a douchebag, I adore and will always need my fill of. If you've read this series up to this point and know me personally, you'll understand who I'm referring to.
The fourth and final book in the series, Absolved in Death, has me incredibly excited. I can't wait to find out how this tale concludes!
Mal & Ares told Diana about their unlucky relationships they each had that had helped shape them into how they were today. Ares is still my fav even though he messed up in the end. I shouldn’t laugh but some of the banter in Ares’ thoughts is funny. Actually most of this book was funny & I kept having a smile on my face especially everyone’s reactions when she turned into a dragon.
Some random bits from the book: One psycho lover (Ares) to his other psycho lover (Mal): “On the days my sadness swallows me, torturing and unaliving people with you is the only thing that brings me back from the brink.”
“I am a vending machine fresh out of fucks, and no one was coming to restock me anytime soon.”
“Today needs to be dark to lead to brighter days tomorrow.”
“Today’s forecast: cloudy mood with a chance for panic showers and a complete mental breakdown! Strong swings, so you may want to wear a straight jacket.”
Diana's men have been driving me crazy. Controlling, OVERLY obsessive and possessive, and now keeping secrets (though that's not what makes me the most frustrated). In the beginning, Sébastien was cute in his obsession with Diana. He clearly cared a lot for her and would do anything for her. Since then, it's become almost toxic. Diana keeps getting mad at him, yet always caves. I wish she'd dig her heels in more and really put him in his place. Maybe she finally will? (Though who am I kidding? He'll never REALLY change much.)
So much happens in this book. Diana is really coming into her powers. She's getting to know her dads better, and things are starting to build up to the inevitable war. She has a great relationship with her crazy but best brother ever, and he's probably my favourite character overall!
I don't want to give any spoilers, if you've made it this far, though, you know you'll love this book!
There is just something about finding that little missing piece that puts things into perspective and here Diana has most certainly stumbled upon an entirely new additions to her family. Her connection with her brother Oisin is absolutely lovely, what are big brothers for if not to protect you. Loved that. Quite a few twists and turns here, but unfortunately the relationships for me are simply not progressing apart from the one with Mal. As for Diana as a character... I am getting a wee bit irritated with her.I love Bash and he has been my number one from the start. Though it seems are definitely not peachy between him and the main heroine. When hidden secrets come to the forefront would the FMC bail or fight? Off to the next book to hopefully see how this story concludes.
We pick up where we left off from the cliffy of the last book... ouch. Preparing for the future, saving those who need it and kicking ass and taking names. I can't get enough of these characters. Every book I fall more in love with each of them. Mal has worked for it and grown into a strong dependable person for Diana. Seeing Diana's growth from the beginning to now has been such an empowering ride. She still has a lot to learn and after how this one ends... that cliffhanger was heartbreaking btw... I can't wait to see what she does in the last book. And the guys... they have a whole lot of groveling coming up because she is the daughter of the Lucifer and there will be hell to pay.
Wow this book really has the correct name for it because there was soooo much deception going on with Diana’s men and one Dad! 😡 I truly feel bad for Diana in this book and completely understand why she does what she does at the end of this book. But damn does it leave a good cliffhanger! There was not many steamy scenes in this book compared to the previous book, which I’m okay with because it focused on the plot more. I do though wish there was more MM scenes because it was very light this time. I can’t wait for the next book and to see how everything turns out because there better be A LOT of groveling!!
These books are so epic in scale and i love it! From Greek gods and Mt Olympus to Angels and Demons and the original fallen angel, Lucifer, this story is intense! The heroine is fiery and fun, with 5 men prepared to worship her for all time, complicated parentage and even more complicated familial relationships she is trying to figure her way through, any time she loses her cool or gets a win - its a big deal. This story is bigger than her though, bigger than her complicated relationships and messy past, this is the balance of good and evil and the end of the world as we know it! Cant wait for the last book, this one was worth the wait.
I feel like I'm in a whole new world. M.Bonnet had me hooked onto this PNR and even though this is a why choose romance, Mal is my favourite <3
Diana's men are super possessive and over the top, but it's okay coz we love those typa men here😚😏
I can't wait to see their grovelling in the next, aka, the final book of this series. I kinda don't want to tell more because it'd kinda ruin the surprise elements I witnessed in this book.
All I can say is, hardcore paranormal romance lovers, you're in for a hell of a treat <3
This series is getting better with each book. The first book in my opinion could have been half the link it was or it needed more action to fill it’s length. I like a good sex scene, but I almost returned the book without finishing it. You can make the appearance of lots of sex without a full sex scene every chapter.
The second book I read straight through. The story was good and it moved.
The third book is even better. Truly, I didn’t want to finish it, because I know the last book isn’t available and I am sold on the story now.
I love the books but am very disappointed in the fact that I won't read the ending. I only read series that are complete because I read pretty much nonstop so reading something that is not complete is a waste of time. By the time the next book comes out I will have moved on to new books and characters. I don't like having to go back and reread to remember what is happening. This said it was a 3 book series, but at the end of the 3rd it says there is a 4th with no time frame for it to be available.
This was a great third book to the series. Most of it is heart wrenching because everything is so messed up at that point after the conclusion of book 2. Everything seems to be slowly working out to fix everything, but unfortunately, some of her guys are keeping heavy secrets from her.
This spice in this is top notch but there’s a ton of plot in the book as well.
Definitely ready to see Diana and her guys get their happy ending.
Damn girly ! I thought I would totally be able to pick who was my favorite :( and damn I can’t 😡👿urrgggg she’s so lucky to have these amazing “males” by her side . Redd urggggg I hate him . This book was everything and more. I’m obsessed with this author and she does such a good job! Love her books. Must read God the twist and turns and push and pulls and soooooo many unexpected things … I don’t want to give to much away. Obsessed
This is book 3 of the Dangerous Lovers series. This is a great book to read. Loved the characters and thier relationship I just can't pick who is my favourite at all.
Diana certainly is not playing around and taking any crap at all. And those men of hers **Swoon**
If you haven't read the first two book, go and read them then come and read this you will love what M Bonnet has created.
This was crazy!!! So much happened and is being prepared to happen but I loved the development of Diana and her story. All the adventures and battles continuously fought throughout were amazing and really helped keep the story going along. I knew that things were going a little too well so the drama that popped off with her guys was absolutely crushing… I am bouncing off the walls to find out all the things that are going to pop off in book 4
Oh man the twists and turns and so many kept secrets whatever can happen when thing's are revealed. I've been anxiously waiting for this book wanting to see what spiderweb of tales this arthur was going to spin for us as war is coming, and will Diana and her boyfriend's, allies be ready? We'll have to see what happens in the final book. I know I can’t wait. I absolutely recommend 10/10 this series.
I straight up devoured this book in less than 36 hours. Avoided as many responsibilities as possible and acted like my husband does in the restroom just to get extra reading time in.
This entire book will leave you on the edge of your seat, salivating profusely. M Bonnet has a way with words, I'm either laughing, anxious or grabbing my BOB cause 🥵🥵🥵🥵.
I cannot wait for the end of this series cause it's just going to be amazing!
Each book just gets better and better! I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. There's not as much spice, for reasons that make sense to the narrative, but that isn't even bad. The scenes that are there are yummy! The book itself has so much growth for Diana. She really does come into who she's meant to be! There's drama, war, and so much to deal with. I couldn't put it down. I also cannot believe what happens near the end! The cliffhanger is so worth it. Book 4 is gonna just be simply amazing.
