Following Alaskan traditions, Sue Ann Blackburn advertised for a mate, listing everything essential in a friend, everything compatible in a companion. She believed that if friendship came first, love would follow in its own good time. Then her future husband, Jerry Teal, showed up...
When he stepped off the plane in Juneau, Jerry was no longer the comfortable confidant of letters and phone calls but a dashing stranger, eager for challenge, adventure and for love. With the wedding only weeks away, Sue Ann had committed to marriage. But was she ready for it?

It’s a treat to find Mail-Order Mate available in digital format at last. Ms. Nelson has been a longtime favorite of mine, and I was delighted to have a chance to read this book again. For those who enjoy heartfelt romance and good storytelling, Mail-Order Mate comes highly recommended.
