Interchange Third edition is a four-level series for adult and young-adult learners of English from the beginning to the high-intermediate level. The Interchange Class Audio Cassettes include the conversations, grammar focus frames, listening activities, pronunciation practice, and self-study section from the Student's Book, all recorded in natural conversational English. Also included are the listening sections of the quizzes found in the Teacher's Edition. The Class Audio program is also available on Audio CDs.
Jack Croft Richards is an applied linguist from New Zealand, specializing in second and foreign language education, teacher training, and materials design. He has written numerous articles and books. Most of his books and articles are in the field of second language teaching and have been translated into many different languages. He was appointed full professor in the Department of English as a Second Language at the University of Hawaii in 1981.
