An all-new comedy about one man s obsession with BL!Ryo Sakaguchi has a deep, dark he s a fudanshi a straight boy obsessed with BL. While he has trouble understanding how others don t find the same bliss he does from his unusual hobby, that doesn t make it any easier for Ryo to buy his precious manga from the girls section of the store, or any simpler explaining the world of boys love, shipping wars, and doujinshi circles to his best friend Nakamura. Will Ryo find other fanboys to share his hobby with, or is he doomed to sit alone on his throne of BL romance?"
Still kind of uncomfortable, and the series clearly doesn't understand that "gay" and "transgender" are not the same thing. I'm honestly not sure why I'm still reading this.
just an okay read. i enjoyed it and there were certainly funny and somehow relatable moments but this volume as a whole just didn't standout for me. it was 'okay'. just that.
As someone who once plummeted right into the depths of BL online, I can honestly say that I do enjoy seeing men cross-dress. I can't explain WHY I like it, but I can never turn down a man in a maid uniform, my my! I feel like I gain more confidence in myself and my interests with every chapter that I read. We can't always explain why we enjoy something so thoroughly, and that makes people question if we truly like it, but it's so refreshing to be able to read and relate to Guuchi and Nishihara. And I still love Nakamura <3
Also, that last chapter HOLY HELL. I thought it might be a dream that Guuchi was having at first, but I don't even know. Now I regret not buying four volumes instead of two, I need to know what happens!
It's called the high school life, but they will soon graduate... I wonder if it will just be a short manga of it will continue to follow them through their college/adult years. Looking forward to the next volume!
The cover is my favorite character because he's such a great foil to everyone else. It has the same flavor as the first book and you get to know the characters a bit better through more comedic shorts. An easy read and one that you could reread for a good laugh.
Here's a comedy set in Japanese high school about BL. It's not BL. This is just funny.
A fundanshi is a guy claiming to be straight who enjoys reading BL. Gucchi and his friends are very funny. This is about about being a fan of BL. The characters are cute and funny. It's rare to get a comedy like this. I enjoyed the pace. Yes, we are in a high school setting, but the humor excuses that. These kids are crazy for BL and I had no idea there were so many different varieties.
I enjoyed this and I plan on getting the next volume. It's an old one. It was published in 2017 in the states so it's older than that.
Humorem mi to sedlo více jak jednička a je to pořád nehorázně feel good prdel, která nemá za účel nic více než pobavit absurdním humorem s lehkým homo erotickým podtextem :D
