Jumping Jack

Rate this book
A beautiful story about how sometimes our worst moments may be the bridge to our dreams. . . In exchange for being able to live on Cedar Creek Farm, thirteen year old Sarah Baker's parents must train horses and students in the property owners' equestrian facility. After being born in North Carolina and living nearly her whole life on the farm, Sarah finds out she's moving to Tennessee. And not only will she have to start a new life in another state, but she has to leave her precious horse, Jack, and her dog, Ginger, behind since she's going to live in a town, not a farm. Sarah is devastated, and she knows that she will never get to fulfill her dreams now- competing in the US Equestrian Nationals. When she moves to Tennessee, however, she finds a luxurious equestrian barn owned by a retired Olympic show jumper. There she finds a beautiful white mare, just as free-spirited and adventurous as Jack. Sarah, being a great rider herself, begins to secretly jump this mare in the woods located in the back of the property. After the owner of the farm finds her riding his horse, Sarah has no idea that her dreams of competing in the US Equestrian Nationals might just come true after all.
