SHE'D ALWAYS WANTED TO MARRY HIM....

From the time she was a teenager, Colleen Bryan had loved Gunnar Larson. With his broad shoulders and sexy swagger, he'd been everything she'd ever dreamed of. And now, snowbound with him in the wilds of Wyoming, she set out to prove she was much more than his best friend's 'baby' sister.

But her best laid plans went astray. She and Gunnar had their night of passion, and a child - their child - was the result. But she couldn't quite believe his words of love, and she couldn't help but suspect that the marriage he proposed came from a sense of duty...not devotion.

Wonderful read,the story started off with a snow storm and from there it developed really well,adored Gunnar-Colleen a lot specially Colleen's ideas and things she did to make Vanessa leave,loved the way Colleen stayed and was determined to win Gunnar's love,Colleen asks Gunnar to let her know what happened so that she can let go and he tells her what really happened & after so much pains-anger and hurt they finally get their much deserved HEA.The epilogue was cute

Overall a very good read

3-1/2 stars. This was well written and moved right along. I loved the premise of the much younger heroine in love with her brother's best friend. That part of the story worked well. I think the thing that brought it down for me was the element about his past and his feud with his father and stepmother. There were too many ideas crammed into the book. There was too much going on and it took away from the more interesting elements of the story for me. Still it was a good read.

“Snow Bride” is the story of Colleen and Gun.

Relentless yearning between a heroine who has loved hero from afar, but due to age gap and misunderstandings time was never right. When they get stranded with each other due to snowfall, passions ignite and buried feelings resurface.
We know Colleen and Gun from previous books so I was excited to read their story.
Loads of lovemaking, and angst in this one and if it didn’t have the past drama and rushed end, I’d have rated this higher.

Normally when I write stalker crazy I mean the man but in this case I mean the woman. She ran after him and was always getting undress around him saying provocative things she really wanted her man. Did he have a choice not really cause she ran after him in a snow storm and then he is forced to do the right thing being that she was the sister to his best friend. I did not see a lot of respect from either of them just two teens having sex in a cabin and thinking of themselves individually. I can't say I hated it cause it Appealed to the equal right movement in me but I normally like it when the man does the chasing. Call me sexist but it's my preference. Happy reading.

Пролистала в русском переводе под названием «Младшая сестра» (“The Younger Sister” or “The Little Sister”) от «автора» (придуманный псевдоним) Ронды Грей (Rhonda Gray). Имена героев в переводе были изменены:

- главная героиня: Colleen Bryan > Трэлла Кэтэр (Trella Cater?);
- главный герой: Gunnar Larson > Алан Кольт (Alan Colt);
- брат главной героини и лучший друг главного героя: Kel > Сол (Saul);
- мачеха главного героя: Vanessa > Агнес (Agnes).

- «Выстраданное счастье» Фэй Уилбик (“Belabored Love” by Fay Wilbeck);
- «Чувство долга» Бетти Райт (“Sense of Responsibility” by Betty Wright).

Good older book. Typical angst you find in a Dallas Schultz book.

this is my second book from this author and it was a great read, just like the first one.

i noticed a few things, girl is always younger than the guy :P ... and the covers are awful :(

don't judge a book by a cover, i know but you all must admit that the cover is what draws you to the book, then you read the short version AND then you decide is this book for you or not. well, this was a book for me :D

2.5*. It took me a while to get into the swing of it and there's nothing like a wannabe ow to give a story a bit of zing.
