some departures from the other mathieu comics i have read so far:
1) not all the text is included in the illustrations, most of it is on the left page, one picture on the right page.
2) the overall format is really surprising and apparently also the french original was printed in this really small pamphlet format, about 10x15 cm.
3) illustrations are very clean, without the futuristic/dadaistic clues of other works.

still, this booklet is genius, and i take 1 star away because of that: every word counts, and i am not sure that the german translation accounts for that, or for that matter, that any translation could really do the job. obvious case at hand: la mutation in french stands for the biological mutation (german: die mutation), but also for the transfer in a job (german: die versetzung).

Este cómic me hizo llorar a mares porque me hizo pensar en mi mamá. Es el regalo más lindo que me han dado en mucho tiempo, leerlo fue hermoso y, para mí, catártico.
