Real crime books are not like any other. I like to make sure the reader knows what they are getting into. The real crime is not CSI. It's increasingly scary. Real fans of crime who have been reading these books for years already know this.Even television documentaries will leave out really scary parts of crime stories. In my book, I don't leave out details, no matter how disturbing. My goal is to give the reader a better glimpse into the killer's mind.
