i think this was a very honest and trutful and warts and all lookin to the world of the author and she has come through all these stages off her life and is a real awesome young woman, beautiful strong yet vulnerable, some slite insecurities, but lovely and im sure she will go on to have many more successful books , she deserves happiness and sucess and i count her as a friend and am priviledge to kno her, i have read her blogs which are awesome and when the book is published in 2010 i will be buying a copy for sure

When I picked this up at the library the lady at the desk said jokingly "looking into a new line of work are we".(oh ha ha!) Well this book would certainly do away with any thought that people may have about prostitution being glamourous. This was tough and gritty but somehow I was always rooting for her to survive and by the end of the book I was hopeful that she would indeed make it out the other side and be strong enough to leave her old life behind. Unlike other reviewers here I have not read her blog so did not know anything about the writer, but I am now going to look up her blog to see what she is doing now. A really good read

The call girl part of this book was barely there and it was mostly about the neurotic author being superficial and drugged up and wondering how to get her next hit. I suppose she was hoping her book would turn out salacious and scandalous, but mostly it was a few hundred pages of eye rolling, wishing that she'd snap out of her immensely childish attitude.

Which she did in the end so I guess there's a moral of the story there somewhere. I just couldn't care less.

Awesome. I read this when i was travelling. It's really eye opening ont only regarding the lifestyle of a 'high class' call girl but also the emotional side of an individual. It dirty as hell in some places (as you would expect) and it does go into detail regarding some encounters with clients - but that is what makes it so good. ;)

Clare Gee takes us into her life like no one has done before. She is by far the most fascinating and entertaining writer that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Run do not walk to get you hands on this gem.

A very sad story about what to avoid when pursuing the path of a mistress, escort, or courtesan. It was honest and emotionally compelling.
