Lies, betrayal, deceit, all take place in the second installment of Little Miami Girl. In part one, we got a glimpse into the things that Antonia had to endure over the course of her tumultuous childhood. Jaheim had swooped in and brought a ray of light to her dark existence, but the fairytale came to a screeching halt on that final night with Porsha catching Rick in Antonia’s room. Even with Porsha confirming the truth that Rick is a sick pervert who likes to mess with younger girls, will that be enough for Antonia’s aunt? Will she for once in her life step up and protect her family?
Jahiem is deeply in love with Antonia and will do anything to protect her, but he struggles with her trust issues. He is determined to have an honest and loving relationship with Antonia, but she just needs to meet him halfway.
Antonia, her aunt, and her cousin share a family secret that they agreed never to speak on, but what happens when Antonia is left with no choice but to finally confess? When the truth is revealed, everyone’s lives will change. Will Jahiem be able to forgive yet another deception? Or will he finally be fed up with Antonia and all of her deep, dark secrets?
Mannnnnnnn I swear I love this book Diamond Johnson you did your thing once again. Jaheim is BAE no doubt. I love everything about him, I love the fact that he took in Antonia son like it was his and I had a feeling PJ was Antonia son and Red was the one who raped her. I tell you this girl had a hard life from the beginning. I pray that Jaheim is okay and if he is I hope that he get Red back for everything he did. I cannot wait for part 3 this was an excellent read
Sigh... my poor Jah... (like this character is mine LOL) I tell you what AUTHOR you better not do it! LOL yes I am going off like I have a choice in the storyline BUT I'M SAYING! okay okay
Sooooo I loved the first one, I loved this one... and now I have to wait to love the next one.
I have some much more I need to say... but I won't spoil it but red mcdustyass better get served!
NOOOOOO! I can’t wait to read the next one because Antonia deserves to win but it seems like this child just keeps coming up short. Hopefully, a hat trick is pulled and it’s not what we think at the end. I figured Rick would move on to younger things but I was hoping his wang has shot the hell off. Jahiem needs some drama with him though so hopefully we’ll see something coming from him as well.
A little better than the first volume, BUT HELLA EDITS need to be done. I'm far from the grammar police, but grammar and continuity do matter in a story. How can you have a kutha**** change from a dress to jeans in the same story sequence?!?!? If you're going to be hyper descriptive then get it right!!!!!!!👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥
Antonia had even more secrets and heartbreak that happened to her and that Aunt of her once again swept it under the rug and disregarded the truth even though the truth was staring her dumb a$# in the face. Gina wasn't fit to be mother. I think her daughter Porsha finally realized how evil her was to Antonia all these year's even though she helped with the abuse. Jahiem finally learned something else about Antonia past and someone closed to him was the culprit.
This one was better but still stressed me tf out. And she good for a cliffhanger so on to part 3. I just know if EVERYBODY who deserves some shit don’t get their shit I’m gonna be mad. That little inconvenience Takara had to deal with ain’t good enough. She got something coming too.
This book pick right where part 1 left off. I still loved Jahiem and how he was always there for Antonia. I loved the fact that even though Tonia was dealt a bad hand she still stayed focus on school. I need the aunt and her boyfriend to meet karma. I'm hoping jah pulled through I'm about to start part 3
Omg I'm so mad it ended like that!!! I hope everybody that did Antonia wrong gets what they deserve. Congrats to the authoress, she has another banger!!!!
Everything done in the dark, comes to the light. This series definitely has me in my feelings. I am really loving me some Jah! That ending has left me with my mouth wide open. On to part 3!
Although we get to understand the story of Antonia more, this still lacks some shine because somethings or chapters felt forced or like when children are playing adult. Back in the days of our parents, when you meet a gangster or thug orpimp or kingpin, you knew you were in the presence of royalty or Alpha attitude, and when you go in the hood or projects, man there was fear. Now it's not fear, it's more child's play and business and so when you read these stories and they want to refer to all of these areas, you want to also feel them, but this book didn't give these vibes. Now that said, Jah is cute and it's now to read about his struggles about staying faithful and all to Antonia, and he is doing it. Man PJ got lucky and I hope this ending is truly not that ending...
I am so proud of Antonia. She is definitely on her grown woman grind. I am proud of her accomplishments, her faith, her courage and how she is handling it all especially with a new bae. I have to say the image of Jaheim that is in my head is fine, but an unexplainable fine and beautiful. His soul is so wonderful. He is protective, nurturing and loving. I love how he deeply expresses his love for Antonia. It's strong and seems unbreakable. Whew! I got goosebumps. I just hope he's around to pour more life and love into their union. This is an excellent read for me. ReneeG 👍
I enjoy reading Ms. Johnson's work. I notice now a lot of her work is not with kindle unlimited. This is a downer for me because I'm probably not going to purchase book 3. I purchased book 1 and 2 because I had received a credit. I enjoyed the storyline as always. I enjoyed reading all the characters even the "bad guys". Hopefully by me reading Antonia and Jahiem's Christmas story I can sort of piece the storyline together. My rating is just based on me having to pay for a lot of your books.
I just don't know 🤦🏾♀️ I was rooting for Jah and now he could possibly be shot! Hopefully it'll turn out he had a bullet proof vest. Jah please say you had a bullet proof vest on lol 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I'm so happy Antonia took her son back. I wonder if she go have to rescue her 2 twin cousins from the house of hell too 🤔 I'm still waiting on that dose of karma for Antonia's aunt and cousin Porsha. I can't wait til them hoes get served. The aunt know damn well Antonia not lying and she let Rick sick ass bathe them girls. Look this book got me .38 hot! Whew let me gone to book 3!!!
Great book! I can't wait to read the 3rd book I just finished the 2nd in a few hrs. I'm addicted to these books. Diamond Johnson is an awesome writer!!! This book needs 6 stars!
I really, really love this story. I could. Or believe all the struggles that Antonia, went through and still be son strong. She had so many people trying to tear her down. Jaheim was, just the person to build her up and show her love. I am about to start book 3
I don’t know why I took so long to read this series but it’s definitely worth it! Jah is heaven sent and Antonia has been through so much. I love there relationship, I can’t wait to start part three!
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Dope story. I’m happy all the secrets are out but dang man why jah had to get shot . Hopefully he’s good. Now the aunt wants to believe her.
Antonia & Jah's story just keeps getting deeper. I love Antonia's spirit, she has been through some of the worst sh*t and keeps the sweetest attitude. I took a star off for editing.
Antonia kind of got on my nerves this book. I know she’s been through a lot but Jah has proven himself time and time again. She really needs therapy to heal her inner child. A couple times throughout the book I was screaming girl just tell him!
This book definitely took me on an emotional roller coaster!!!…You truly never know the secrets one may carry while they smile!!!…I wanted to reach out and help Antonia myself!!!…
